So about that HTC Kingdom that leaks have shown is headed to Sprint sometime in the future? Turns out that, whenever it does end up making its way to the Now Network, it may be known as the HTC Hero 4G. This is according to a report from the folks at Pocketnow, who point to uploaded photos as well as this DLNA certification (PDF link) as evidence of the Kingdom's impending name change.

The original CDMA Hero was a pretty popular device when it launched way back in October of 2009, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise to see Sprint revive the Hero name with a new, 4G-enabled device. We're still waiting to hear when the Kingdom Hero 4G could launch, but considering that it's already passed the FCC and that cases for the device have begun to appear, a launch may not be too far off.
