Are you a Sprint customer that's been having problems receiving text messages from your friends on other carriers? You're not alone, buddy. Last last month, reports began surfacing from Sprint customers who were receiving texts from customers on other carriers hours or even days after they were originally sent. In some cases, the messages never even arrived. Kind of a biggie, no? The good news is that Sprint has acknowledged the issue and is working to resolve it. Sprint had this to say in a statement sent to Wired:
"We are aware of a text-messaging issue that is impacting a small percentage of incoming text messages. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible."
Sprint doesn't have a timeframe for when we can expect a fix to be implemented. Still, it's good to see the carrier admit that a problem exists and that it's working to get everything as smooth as butter once again. Any of you Sprint folk out there having problems getting texts from people on other carriers?
