Good news, Samsung Captivate owners! Your Android 2.2 update has finally arrived, right on schedule. Ready for some bad news? It's available for download through Samsung's Mini Kies software, much like the Vibrant's update was last month. Still, that shouldn't deter you from installing the upgrade (unless you're a Mac user, as Kies is PC-only), so get to downloading!
It's kind of disappointing that the Captivate's update isn't being rolled out over the air considering all of the benefits that OTA upgrades bring, but at this point we're just thankful to see another Galaxy S Froyo update finally arrive.
