Just a few days ago, we heard straight from T-Mobile that the Galaxy S 4G would be priced at $149.99 when it launches next week. If you've been planning on picking up the new Galaxy S from T-Mo on Wednesday, you're now going to need to bring a little extra cash. T-Mobile just announced that the Galaxy S 4G will actually be priced at $199.99 with two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate when it launches on the 23rd.
Continuing with Galaxy S 4G news, our friends at TmoNews have gotten word that some Wally World stores have already begun stocking the Galaxy S 4G. It's not actually supposed to go on sale until Wednesday, but if you really want your Galaxy S 4G a few days early and know a WalMart employee or are just a really smooth operator, you may be able to persuade someone to sell you the phone today. If you are able to pull it off, let us know!
Even though the Galaxy S 4G isn't a totally new handset, $150 seemed like a decent price for an HSPA+-capable handset with Froyo and a front-facing camera. At $200, though, it becomes a little harder to recommend, especially when you consider that you'll actually be paying $250 at the store. Where do all of you stand on the Galaxy S 4G? Would you pick one up or wait for a different device, like one of T-Mo's upcoming BlackBerrys or the HTC Pyramid?
