Yesterday we saw the HTC ThunderBolt's February 24th launch date all but confirmed, and today we've got the other most important bit of launch info: price. Thanks to next week's Best Buy ad, it's been confirmed that the TBolt will launch with a price tag of $249.99 with a two-year contract. Of course, the more contract-averse among us also have the option of buying Verizon's first 4G handset for $749.99 sans any sort of commitment.

We've known about the ThunderBolt's potential pricing for some time now, and since its a speedy 4G-capable handset, it shouldn't really come as much of a surprise that Verizon will charge more for the ability to access its LTE network. Some customers may not be willing to buy a phone with a $250 on-contract price, but if I can get "unlimited" 4G data with it for only $30 per month, I might be willing to take the plunge. What about you?

UPDATE: Droid-Life has the same XOOM pricing that we saw earlier this week, too, further confirming that the $799.99 price tag is legit.
