The iPhone 12 mini made its debut alongside the other three new iPhone 12 models earlier this month, but unfortunately for folks who are interested in the new small screen iPhone, it'll be a couple more weeks before the iPhone 12 mini hits consumers' hands. However, a new video has surfaced to show us the mini iPhone early.
A new hands-on video shows off the iPhone 12 mini and compares it to the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The video from George Buhnici is in Romanian and doesn't have any subtitles, but it's still a nice video to watch to get size comparisons between the iPhone 12 mini and other recent iPhones.
The iPhone 12 mini features a 5.4-inch display, offering a smaller display size than other recent iPhones. For example, the iPhone 11 and iPhone XR each have a 6.1-inch display while the iPhone X's screen is a 5.8-inch panel.
Apple does sell the iPhone SE with a 4.7-inch screen, but that model also uses an iPhone 8-style design with large bezels at the top and bottom of the screen. With the iPhone 12 mini, Apple is giving consumers who want a small phone an option that uses the same edge-to-edge design, high-end specs, and cameras as the regular iPhone 12.
The iPhone 12 mini starts at $699 and will be available for pre-order beginning November 6. It'll launch on November 13.
