Following Sony's PlayStation 5 games showcase last month, it's now Microsoft's turn to show off some more Xbox Series X games.

Today is Microsoft is hosting its Xbox Games Showcase event. The livestream will kick off at 9:00 am PT / 12:00 pm ET / 5:00 pm BST, and you can check it out using the embed above.

This is the second Xbox Series X games event that Microsoft has held recently. Back in early May it showed off some third-party games coming to its next console, but today will largely be focused on first-party titles.

Microsoft has said that today's event will include "first looks at new gameplay, insights from development teams being optimized for Xbox Series X, and brand-new game announcements." One of the games that we know will be shown is Halo Infinite, and other possibilities include titles like Hellblade 2 and possibly even a new Fable.

The Xbox Series X will launch this holiday season.
