One week after handing out free Nest Mini smart speakers to YouTube Premium subscribers, Google has once again started to give away free devices to its customers.
Nest Aware subscribers are now receiving emails to offer them a free Nest Hub smart display or Nest Mini smart speaker. Several folks on Reddit have chimed in to confirm that they got the offer, with some folks getting a Nest Mini while others are able to get a Nest Hub.
Most people appear to be having problems actually taking advantage of this deal right now, saying that they can't get their promo code to work. One Reddit user says that they got a response from Google on Twitter saying that they're aware of the issue and are working on a fix.
A Nest Mini normally costs $49.00 while a Nest Hub is $89.99. Either device can help you listen to music, get answers to your questions, and control smart home devices, but the Nest Hub includes a 7-inch touchscreen you can use to view photos, watch videos, check on your smart home cameras, and more.
Nest Aware is normally priced at $6 per month or $60 per year, while Nest Aware Plus is $12 per month of $120 per year. So while these Nest Mini and Hub gifts don't quite equal a year's worth of a Nest Aware or Aware Plus sub, they're still a nice little gift just for being a Nest Aware subscriber.
If you subscribe to Nest Aware, let us know if you get a free Nest Mini or Hub!
