The Galaxy S10 Lite debuted earlier this year as a more affordable Samsung flagship, and now it's coming stateside.
Samsung announced today that the Galaxy S10 Lite will be available in the US starting tomorrow, April 17th. You'll be able to get it from Samsung.com, BestBuy.com, and Amazon.com for $650.
Included with the Galaxy S10 Lite's spec list is a 6.7-inch 2400x1080 Super AMOLED screen with a hole-punch centered at the top of the screen where for 32MP selfie cam lives. The triple rear camera array includes a 48MP main sensor with Super Steady OIS to give you added stability when taking photos and videos, and there's a 12MP ultra-wide cam and 5MP macro camera, too.
Inside the S10 Lite is an octa-core processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage, plus a microSD card slot. A 4500mAh battery powers the phone, and on the software side it's running Android 10 with a recent update that brought Galaxy S20 camera features to the Galaxy S10 phones.
At $650, the Galaxy S10 Lite could be a good option for folks looking for a more affordable alternative to the Galaxy S20 series. While the flagship Galaxy S10 is still available from many retailers, the Galaxy S10 Lite is still a bit cheaper while offering a solid set of specs, including its own triple rear camera setup.
Samsung also gave the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite an official introduction today. It features a 10.4-inch 2000x1200 LCD screen as well as 8MP rear and 5MP front cameras, an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64/128GB of storage that you can augment with a microSD card.
An S Pen stylus is included with the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite as well. It features a 0.7mm tip and is battery free so that you don't have to worry about keeping it charged up. When not in use, the S Pen magnetically attaches to the right side of the Tab S6 Lite.
Rounding out this tablet's spec list are dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 7040mAh battery, and USB-C. On the software side, it's running Android 10 with features like the ability to take calls and send and receive texts through your Samsung account.
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will launch in Q2 2020 in Oxford Gray, Angora Blue, and Chiffon Rose color options. It'll start at $349.99 and will include 4 months of YouTube Premium free.
