There are probably lots of new people checking out Stadia this month thanks to Google's free Stadia Pro offer, and today Google is showing how it can improve Stadia by rolling out a few new features.
Google Stadia now supports 5.1 surround sound when playing games on the web. Stadia has long offered 5.1 surround sound on TVs for Pro users, and now folks who have a 5.1 surround sound system hooked up to their computer can get it, too.
Another new feature for Stadia on the web is an on-screen keyboard. Now when you have a gamepad connected to Stadia, you'll see an on-screen keyboard for text entry.
Finally, Google Stadia is getting mobile connection notifications. This means that when you're playing on mobile devices you'll get notifications for your connection quality, which can be help you be aware if the strength of your connection changes.
