One month after T-Mobile customers got 2 months of YouTube Premium for free, it looks like Sprint customers are getting the same gift.
Sprint is offering 2 months of free YouTube Premium through My Sprint Rewards. Spotted by folks on Reddit, you can redeem this offer in the My Sprint Rewards app for Android and iOS.
Some folks say that they were only able to get 1 month of free YouTube Premium if they've used a trial in the past, so this offer of 2 months free likely only applies to new YouTube Premium users.
With YouTube Premium, you get ad-free videos on YouTube and the ability to play videos while using other apps or while your phone is locked. You can also download videos to watch offline. YouTube Music Premium streaming is included with a YouTube Premium membership, too.
T-Mobile and Sprint closed their merger earlier this month, and so this YouTube Premium offer for Sprint customers may be a result of the two companies finally coming together. T-Mo is offering its customers 2 months of free YouTube Premium through T-Mobile Tuesdays, its own customer rewards program, and now Sprint customers are getting the same deal a couple of weeks after the merger closed.
