Samsung's Galaxy S20 phones have started hitting pre-order customers' doorsteps days ahead of their official launch date.
Lots of folks who pre-ordered a Galaxy S20, S20+, or S20 Ultra started getting their phones today, well ahead of their March 6th release date. TmoNews reports that some T-Mobile customers have already gotten their S20s, and several people on Reddit have posted photos of their new S20s as well.
We see Samsung's new smartphones shipped to pre-order customers ahead of the official launch date before, but it's still exciting to see the Galaxy S20 series getting into buyers' hands early. They're getting their new device several days earlier than expected, plus they get a popular new phone before it's released to the general public.
In other Galaxy S20 news, Verizon has released new updates for the Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra (via SamMobile). The Galaxy S20+ is getting updated to version QP1A.190711.020.G986USQU1ATBN while the Galaxy S20 Ultra is being updated to version QP1A.190711.020.G988USQU1ATBN, and both phones are getting the March 2020 Android security patches.
