We've heard lots of leaks and rumors about the OnePlus 8 series lately, but one detail that's still been missing is when the phones will actually be announced. Now we may have that info, too.
The OnePlus 8 series will reportedly be introduced in the second week of April. That's what a source speaking to TechRadar said today, adding that it will be a global announcement.
A mid-April introduction would be a bit early compared to other recent OnePlus flagship reveals: The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 6 were both announced in mid-May. One month isn't a huge change from the timing of OnePlus's recent reveals, though, and so it's definitely possible that the OnePlus 8 will be shown next month.
As for what features the OnePlus 8 might include, OnePlus recently teased that it's working on a 120Hz display that'll likely be included with its next flagship. Rumors have said that wireless charging and IP68 water resistance could be included with the OnePlus 8 Pro, too, and we've also heard that the OnePlus 8 will launch on Verizon with 5G support in tow.
