One day after launching iOS 13.2, Apple has a new watchOS update ready to go.
watchOS 6.1 is now rolling out to the Apple Watch. This update brings support for the new AirPods Pro as well as some unspecified improvements and bug fixes. Also of note is that the update brings watchOS 6 to the Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2, which didn't get the original watchOS 6 update that rolled out last month.
To grab this update, launch the Watch app on your iPhone and select "General" followed by "Software Update".
It's nice to see watchOS 6 to the older Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2 models, despite them both being a few years old at this point. The update to watchOS 6 is a notable one, bringing with it features like a standalone App Store for the watch, new apps like Calculator and Voice Memos, and some new watch faces. So if you've got a Series 1 or Series 2 Apple Watch on your wrist, be sure to check out those new features after updating.
