The updated Nintendo Switch is now on sale at Amazon thanks to a coupon that'll be automatically applied at checkout. This coupon applies to both the Neon Blue and Red Joy-Con and Gray Joy-Con models, so no matter which controller colors appeal more to you, you can save some cash.
Nintendo has said that this updated Switch gets between 4.5 hours and 9 hours of battery life on a single charge. For example, it's estimated that you'll get 5.5 hours of battery life while playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
That's considerably better than the original Switch, which is rated to get 2.5 hours to 6.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. With that model, Nintendo says you'll get around 3 hours of battery life playing Breath of the Wild.
While owners of the original Nintendo Switch will have to decide if it's worth getting rid of their old device to upgrade to this new one, today's deal means this is an excellent time to buy your first Switch.
