Ever since it launched in 2015, Google Fi has offered one plan. Today that plan selection is doubling.
The new Google Fi Unlimited plan is launching today. With it, you get unlimited data, calls, and texts, all for a flat price each month.
The Google Fi Unlimited plan starts at $70 per month for a single line. Two lines will cost $60 per line per month, so $120 total. Three lines will cost $50 per line per month, which works out to $150 total every month, and lines four through six will cost $45 per line per month.
"As we’ve grown, we’ve heard that many of you want the simplicity and predictability that comes with paying the same price each month," Google explained. "So today, for the first time ever, Fi is adding a second plan: our Google Fi Unlimited plan."
Google Fi's new plan includes up to 22GB of high-speed data per person per month. Once you've used that up, you'll have "slower" data for the remainder of that cycle. Also included is 480p video streaming, mobile hotspot support, and 100GB of Google One cloud storage for each person.
When it come to international usage, the Google Fi Unlimited plan includes free international data and texting as well as free calls to more than 50 countries and territories. Calling to other destinations starts at $0.01 per minute.
To celebrate the launch of the new Fi plan, Google is offering 50 percent off the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. To get this deal, you'll need to buy your new Pixel and activate it on Google Fi. This offer will run through September 18 or while supplies last.
