One of the major new features of the iPhone 11 Pro is its triple rear camera setup that lives in a square that protrudes from the phone's backside. Now a new leak suggests that the we'll see a similar camera layout on the new iPad Pro.
A new photo claims to show a "final design mockup" of Apple's upcoming iPad Pro. Shared by Sonny Dickson, the design features a flat backside with a black Apple logo and three connectors near the bottom, just like the current iPad Pro. When you shift your focus to the upper left corner, though, things are very different.
This new iPad Pro has a square camera housing with three cameras and a flash, just like the iPhone 11 Pro. The camera layout is a bit different than on the iPhone, with the iPad's cameras and flash laid out in a square pattern rather than a triangle like on the iPhone 11 Pro.
While some folks aren't huge fans of taking photos with a tablet, sometimes that's all you have with you or your tablet is more easily accessible than your phone. If Apple crams a triple camera setup like the iPhone 11 Pro's into the iPad Pro, it could help to make the tablet a better all-in-one computing device for some people, letting them capture photos and video and then easily edit it on the same device.
Apple introduced the current generation iPad Pro models at an event in late October last year, so we could see these new models announced sometime next month.
