That new NVIDIA Shield TV isn't the only unannounced device that's been outed by the FCC today.

A new Google device that could be a new Pixelbook has appeared in the FCC's database. The device was submitted to the FCC by Quanta Computer Inc., which 9to5Google notes has partnered with Google has previous Chromebook models, and it features the FCC ID HFSG021A.

The FCC ID is notable because it includes the "G021A", which is likely the model number of the device. Other Google devices have had similar model numbers, like the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a, which also go by the model numbers G013A and G020A, respectively.

One other detail included with the FCC listing is that it's got an Intel Wireless-AC 9260 chip for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. A Chromium Gerrit shows that this particular chip is used by the "Atlas", which is the codename for Google's next Pixelbook.

Details of this new "Atlas" Pixelbook are pretty light, but leaked images and videos have suggested that it'll be a traditional clamshell-style laptop. The screen is expected to have a 16:9 aspect ratio, which would be a change from the 3:2 aspect ratio of the Pixelbook's display.

That's about all we've got to go on right now. Google has held events in early October the past few years to announce new Pixel phones and other new hardware, so it's possible that we'll see this new Pixelbook this October.
