Night Sight is one of the headline features of Google Pixel phones, helping you get a solid photo in extreme low-light conditions. The feature is currently buried in the "More" tab of Google's Camera app, but a new version of the app changes that.

Google Camera build 6.3 promotes Night Sight to the main UI of the app, as spotted by 9to5Google. This means you can just swipe right twice or tap on "Night Sight" to quickly access the low-light shooting mode.

With this update, Night Sight is taking the place of Panorama in the Google Camera app's main UI. Night Sight's promotion means that Panorama has been relegated to the "More" tab of the app.

Night Sight has gotten a lot of praise since its launch with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, and so it's good to see Google move it to the Camera app's main UI to help more users discover it. Previously you'd have to dive into the "More" tab or wait for the app to suggest using when you were in a low-light situation, but now Night Sight is much easier to find.

Other changes in Google Camera version 6.3 include the removal of white balance/color temperature controls, an updated Google Lens icon, and the renaming of the front-facing "Flash" feature to "Illumination".
