We learned this week that Motorola may be working on a phone with a triple rear camera setup, which would be its first such device, but it turns out that Moto isn't stopping at three.
New renders claim to show an upcoming Motorola smartphone with four rear cameras. Shared by CashKaro and OnLeaks, the images show a phone with a quad camera setup in a raised housing with a Motorola logo below it. This apparently isn't a fingerprint reader like it is on other Moto phones, though, as this mysterious device is said to have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Details of what each of these four cameras can do is unknown, but at least one wide angle sensor seems likely. Other possibilities include a depth-sensing camera and a camera with a telephoto zoom.
Besides that quad rear camera setup, this leaked Motorola phone is said to include a 6.2-inch display with waterdrop notch, a USB-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
While this wouldn't be the first smartphone on the market with four rear cameras, the device is still intriguing because there haven't been a ton of phones with quad camera setups released so far. Unfortunately, we don't know much about this mysterious device's name, launch date, or pricing, so for now we'll just have to ogle these images and speculate about what the phone could be. Stay tuned for more on this device as we get it.
