Google already has a major event happening this year in Google I/O, which is scheduled for May 7-9, but that's not the only Google gathering that's in the works.
Google today teased the Android Dev Summit for 2019. In a GIF posted to Twitter, Google flashed the words "#AndroidDevSummit" and "Sunnyvale, CA" as well as some hexadecimal numbers and letters that translate to the dates October 23-24.

There's no mention of what announcements or sessions Google might have planned for this year's Android Dev Summit, but because it's a developer-focused event, we'll likely get lots of nitty-gritty about working with Android and creating apps. Android Q will launch to the public in Q3 2019, so this Android Dev Summit could be helpful for devs to learn more about the Q release and get help in developing for it.
