Like to read your Gmail messages in your inbox individually? If so, the Gmail app has a new feature for you.
Google has announced that the Gmail apps for Android and iOS will now let you disable the conversation view. You can do this by clicking the Menu button in the upper left corner of your screen, selecting Settings, tapping your account address, and then unchecking the box labeled "Conversation view".
This feature already exists on the web, and if you've disabled conversation view there, it'll be turned off on your mobile app as well. While conversation view can make reading email threads easier to follow, it's nice to see Google give Gmail users more options for how they read their email in the app.
This feature is now rolling out, but Google says that it could take up to 15 days to appear for everyone.
