There have been some solid smartphone sales so far this holiday shopping season, and today I’ve got one more to tell you about.
The unlocked Samsung Galaxy S6 is available for $399.99 from eBay seller techoutlet. This is the SM-G920TZKAXAR version of the GS6, which is the factory unlocked, carrier-free version that you can buy direct from Samsung. The one difference is that Samsung is asking $599.99 for this unit, which is considerably more than the eBay seller.
This Galaxy S6 is brand new, comes with 32GB of storage, and is available in Black Sapphire. Its band support includes 850/AWS/1900/2100 3G support and LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 17, and 20. That means that it out to play nicely on both AT&T and T-Mobile in the US.
Samsung’s Galaxy S6 is one of the better Android phones that launched in 2015, offering a premium metal and glass body combined with a high-res display and solid camera. It may be getting replaced in the next few months, but it seems unlikely that the GS7’s specs will be a huge step forward over the GS6, just because the GS6 is still a pretty respectable device at great price. Plus, Samsung is going to update the GS6 to Android 6.0, so you’ll have some new software to play with in the near future, too.
If Amazon is more your style, the retailer is offering the same Galaxy S6 for $449.99 with free shipping for Prime members. However, Amazon says that it won’t have more GS6 stock until December 19.
