Remember the flurry of HTC One X9 leaks that surfaced the middle of November? Well it looks like another burst of leaks is coming, because one day after some new images of the One X9 surfaced, the device has leaked again.
Chinese site Anzhuo has posted several hands-on photos of the HTC One X9 that give us our best look yet at the unannounced Android phone. The hardware looks largely similar to the One X9 leaks that we’ve seen in the past, complete with capacitive navigation buttons, front-facing BoomSound speakers, and an elongated oval-shaped rear camera housing. We can also see a ridged power/lock button and flaps that likely house the SIM and microSD cards.
In terms of specs, today’s report says that the One X9’s previously leaked specs are accurate. Those include a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 13-megapixel rear and 4-megapixel UltraPixel front cameras, and a 3000mAh battery. There will reportedly be two versions of the One X9 with different amounts of RAM and ROM, with one model offering 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and a second packing 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space.
Now we just need to wait for HTC to actually announce the One X9 so we can learn when we’ll get to try one for ourselves. A Q1 2016 launch has been rumored, so we could see an announcement at CES and a release shortly thereafter. Pricing is still a mystery, too, but if you’ve been jonesing for a new HTC phablet, the One X9 may be a device to keep an eye on.
