Mark your calendars, Windows fans, because Microsoft has announced that it’s holding a Surface-related event later this month.
Microsoft just sent out invitations to a Surface event that’s scheduled to go down the morning of May 20. As is usually the case with events like these, Microsoft doesn’t say exactly what it’s got planned for the show, but it does tease that it’ll be a “small gathering.”
So what might the folks from Redmond have up their sleeve for this event? The “small gathering” line suggests that Microsoft could be planning to unveil its oft-rumored Surface Mini. While Microsoft has never come out and confirmed that it’s working on a shrunken version of its Windows tablet, Surface creator Panos Panay teased last year that Microsoft is planning “multiple aspect ratios and sizes” of Surface hardware.
Does a Surface Mini interest you? If you could choose the size of this shrunken Surface slate, what would you select?
