Remember that mysterious Samsung Galaxy Camera update that Verizon began pushing over the weekend? All of the questions surrounding it have been solved today, as Verizon has posted its official support documents that reveal exactly what's inside the GC120VRAMC4 update. Packed inside the 179.8MB bundle of new software are new Help and S Memo apps as well as new Remote Viewfinder app that, when used with a compatible Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab or iPhone model, will allow users to control the Galaxy Camera using a Wi-Fi connection. Also included are new Dawn, Party Indoor, Snow and Food Smart Modes.

While the changelog for this new Galaxy Camera update may not be the largest we've ever seen, the handful of improvements that are included make this update look like one that most users will be interested in. After all, who wouldn't like to at least try out the Remote Viewfinder app that allows owners to control their Galaxy Camera with their smartphone? If you've got a Verizon-branded Galaxy Camera haven't yet received this VRAMC4 update, you can check for it manually by heading into Settings > About device > System updates.

The Galaxy Camera isn't the only Android-powered device on Verizon that's getting updated today, as Droid-Life notes that the HTC DROID DNA is getting a maintenance update of its own. This one's a bit smaller than the Galaxy Camera's, though, coming in at just 33MB and packing improvements to the phone's SIM card detection. Anyone that's got a DROID DNA laying around can check to see if this update is available hitting up Settings > Software update > Check new.

Finally, it's worth noting that Verizon announced last week that the Motorola DROID Bionic's Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update would begin hitting users today, April 15. These things usually go out in phases, so don't fret too much if you've got a Bionic in your pocket and it's still on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Included in the update are Jelly Bean enhancements like Google Now and expandable notifications as well as Bionic-specific tweaks like improvements to voice, data and mobile hotspot connectivity. Once again, any users that want to get their Bionic bump as soon as possible can check for it by going into Settings > About phone > System Updates.
