The LG Nexus 4 is one of the leakiest devices in recent memory, showing up in several spec reports and more photo shoots than anyone can keep track of. Over this past weekend, a report claimed that the handset will finally make its official debut at Google's Android event on October 29, and now an LG executive has allegedly confirmed that news. In an interview with IBNLive, Amit Gujral, Head Mobile Product Planning for LG India, said that "Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29," adding that the device will be made available in India by the end of November.
In addition to the announce date, Gujral is also said to have confirmed some of the Nexus 4's spec sheet. The exec reportedly said that the phone will include a 4.7-inch display and 1.5GHz quad-core processor, and that it'll be powered by Android 4.2. Those are all features that've been associated with the LG Nexus in the past, but hey, I'm not one to complain about getting what may be a little more confirmation of the new Nexus's specs. The good news is that all of the rumors should finally be put to an end in just a few days, and to make things even better, we'll be live at Google's event on October 29 to bring you all of the news as it happens. So, you know, keep it locked to PhoneDog for more.
