Back in March HTC provided us with an update on its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich rollout progress, saying that it was the updates for the Sensation and Sensation XE would become widely available in the following weeks and that the upgrade for T-Mobile's Sensation 4G would follow. We haven't heard anything official on the matter since, but today a moderator on T-Mobile's support forums has claimed that the Sensation 4G update won't be arriving in April. There's no mention of when the upgrade might begin rolling out.
While it's definitely a bummer to hear that the Sensation 4G's bump up to Android 4.0 won't be arriving this month, at least owners of the Sensation can stop wondering whether or not the upgrade will come in the next couple of weeks. Here's to hoping that HTC and T-Mobile can finish work on the update soon so that May will bring with it a frosty treat for Sensation 4G owners. When we get an update on the Sensation 4G's move to ICS, as well as the upgrades for all of the other HTC phones that'll be getting Android 4.0, we'll let you know. How many of you are currently rocking a Sensation 4G?
