The launch date for the HTC One S on T-Mobile has been the subject of a couple of recent leaks, but this afternoon T-Mobile put an end to the rumors and made everything nice and official. HTC's One S will be available on T-Mobile starting April 25th, with pricing set at $199.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract.
The One S will be T-Mobile's first device to ship with Android 4.0 and HTC's Sense 4 UI, and it's also one of a handful of devices on T-Mobile's roster that can access the carrier's fastest 42Mbps HSPA+ network. Other specs of the One S include a 4.3-inch 960x540 Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, and an 8-megapixel rear/VGA front camera combo. There's also a 1,650mAh battery powering the whole show.
It's good to finally get the official availability on T-Mo's One S, and I'm sure the combination of the One S's look, its 42Mbps HSPA+ compatibility and the fact that it's got ICS beneath Sense 4 will attract a lot of buyers.
