One of the features of the HTC Flyer that has been touted the most is Scribe, which allows users to scribble, doodle, and make notes on just about anything that you view on the slate. However, we've learned that if you plan to pick up a Flyer and begin drawing all over web pages and other documents, you'll need to pay extra to do so. An HTC representative has confirmed that the Digital Stylus will indeed be sold separately and, according to Best Buy, it'll be priced at $79.99.
Although Scribe is possibly one of the most enticing features that the Flyer has to offer, the price of the Digital Stylus seems a tad steep to me. Sure, it's not exactly a necessity, but for a feature that HTC is jocking so heavily, it'd be nice if the stylus was a little cheaper or, even better, included with the purchase of a Flyer. What do you all think of the pricing of the Digital Stylus? For those of you planning on picking a Flyer up, does this news have an effect on your decision?
