If the blurry pictures didn't fill your appetite for pre-release photos, Crackberry has posted normal pictures of the "Niagra" 9630, and boy is the device beautiful! Merging the designs of the Bold and Curve 8900, we can now get a better idea of what the phone looks like. According to several sources, it appears to be replacing the 8830 World Edition - and losing some of the width, as well. The size is described as "just right," and the battery cover looks much better in these pictures (not to mention that it fools you - the whole back actually detaches).
Being a CDMA user (this week at least), I'm glad that we're getting a new device to supplement the aging Curve 8330. Though we're not sure when it will arrive on Verizon, Sprint's product roadmap has it landing in the third quarter of this year. Check out the pictures below!
