I have been using it for 6 months, Great business phone, decent Apps, battery life is a let down, but still runs through the day easily with medium to heavy usage. Display is great, form factor and design are great as well. But as I mentioned, true business phone and not for android app lovers. Love the hub and messaging. Browsing is too good and on top of everything, it(BB10 touch) has THE best typing experience. Period.
I had the HTC One M7 and thought it was the best. I went and tried a few others as I owned it thinking there was something better. I couldn't find one that processed and was as smooth functioning as the HTC M8.
There's ton of things I can do with my galaxy s5. I found a away to make much more responsive and fast. Which I call it in beast mode. Love this phone and its
the best phone I ever had.
amazing quality amazing screen good battery life beautiful display nice finishing <3
I really liked the design of it, despite a flat back, the aluminium frame makes it comfortable to hold, and a glass'd back makes the device feel lighter to hold, and a ip57 water resistance.
Everything about this phone is GREAT. I was well worth the wait....... 10 STARS
Can't fault it. The screen is amazing and I'm managing to get two days out of the phones battery
The best phone of 2014. Once u get it u wont look back!
For the past 2 years HTC has set the standards for smartphones first with the (m7) and now again with the (m8) they have a beautiful display and breathaking allumumine uni body design that just tops all competitors on the market right now
I've been using N3 since it's launch back in 2013 that's why i's the best phone of it's size considering N4 is not yet available in the marker right now.
One the best smartphones.. The design is superb.. great fluid phone.. great camera and applications and how HTC stays its Sense 6 UI.. great job
originally an apple user (had the 2g,3g,4), i made the switch to android and stuck with Samsung (s2,3,4). But as Samsung's phones started to look less and less appealing, being constructed out of shiny plastic chrome and polycarbonate, i decided to try out the metal HTC M8. not only are the speakers and design stellar, but the performance is unmatched. Samsung has made touchwiz a resource hog so im used to the stutters, lags and freezes. doesn't occur on the M8. very smooth. the camera is an area of concern however. but since i have several cameras to rely on, this m8 is fine taking casual pictures.
CellularOne offers Unlimited Data, which makes it interesting for me.
Their speed is bad, only about 5 Mbit/s (3G can get up to 42 Mbit/s, shared with all users. Even normal HSPA gives you 21 Mbit/s and you can't tell me that people at 4 AM are using 15 Mbit/s)
Ping is most of the time around 80-120ms.
Customer Service only called once, they helped me in under 10 minutes.
This phone is a complete wonderful experience and does well with anything I through at it!
