The good: nice feel, texture features
The bad: slightly thick
Summary: very nice phone overall almost a smartphone which is what alot of teens want slightly small qwerty keyboard
The good: Clamshell/QWERTY combination
Size
Useability
The bad: No MS Exchange ActiveSync
No VPN capability (evidently)
Summary: For me the QWERTY/Clamshell combination is a life-saver. I have no interest in carrying around a shoebox on my belt or in my pocket for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, for me to function in my IT/Infrastructure support role, I need a phone than can SSH into unix systems and talk to an Exchange server/VPN into my company network. In the absence of these tools, all I can do is lament how wonderful life would be if the physical uniqueness of this phone could be leveraged for something more substantial than cronic messagingaholics.
The good: Touch Screen-So easy to control.
Color-I think the black G 1 is SO ugly but I love looking at the white one.
Market-So far I love the apps that I downloaded for FREE!!! But I heard that that's going to stop after January...Don't take my word for it though!
The bad: Internet-sometimes it won't load my page, but I don't know if that's the service or the phone...My guess it's the service.
Battery Life-Not so good...I ALWAYS have to charge it at night and sometimes during the day.
Summary: I LOVE MY G 1...I had recently upgraded to the Behold and I hated it because it didn't do half the things that my blackberry did...So I called and asked if I can exchange it for the white G1 and they said sure...Best decision ever...I get all the functions that I used on my Blackberry plus a touch screen...

I'm so satisfied with my decision to upgrade! I would recommend the G1 (white) to anyone. Especially if you like the functions of the blackberry but you want a touch screen phone.

I haven't used the camera functions yet but I see that it doesn't have a flash but hopefully the pictures still turn out well. At the end of the day all I can say is that the phone is worth the money?And I should know, I paid $400 for the phone, including express shipping and handling.
The good: Fast browser,awesome display,great camera w/flash and video, great sound & speaker quality
The bad: Slightly heavy & thick, touch QWERTY keyboard is hard to get fast on due to click screen.
Summary: Had storm for 2 days (upgraded from treo)havent put it down much since i got it. great multimedia device(the best),love desktop & apps(facebook/myspace/email) internet is great w/great display. still getting used to click screen & sometimes view changes are slow (horiz. to verical).hard to type fast on QWERTY layout.
The good: -Touch Screen
-Keyboard
-Features
-Color
-Picture/Video Quality
-Ease of Use
-Voice Quality
-Quality/Durablity
-Style
The bad: -Battery Life
Summary: I absolutely adore the LG Voyager Titanium. At first I was skeptical about getting because "everyone has it." Then I realized that if everyone had it, it must be a good phone! And it is. The touch screen is so easy to use, the display is great, and the picture/video quality is superb (I've even used the pictures on my phone as myspace/facebook pictures because of the great quality.) The only thing I wasn't too impressed with was the battery life. However, compared to most phones, the battery still holds a fair amount of charge. Anyone who questions whether or not to buy the voyager, I'm telling you right now.. GET IT! You will not be disappointed and the phone is one of Verizon's best.
The good: Small
The bad: Phone unfolds in my pocket
Summary: It's a good little phone that swivels open and closed. Sound quality is good, easy to use, display is a little small, but okay for me. Can't say much for the battery life since I just got it, but my guess is that it'll be pretty weak before my 2 year contract is up, just like every other cell phone I've had. As for durability, it's doing fine now, but I'm afraid it'll fall apart on me because it keeps unfolding in my pocket. I'm sure it'd do just fine in a lady's purse, but not great in the pocket. Loading music is a snap and the quality of sound is great.
The good: Attractive design with beautiful screen resolution;
Solid build;
Good call quality (phone/headset/speaker);
Responsive touchscreen;
Easy menu navigation
The bad: Proprietary charger/headphone jack;
5MP camera doesn't seem much better than my previous 1.2MP;
Weak camera flash
Summary: I am a big fan of Samsung phones, and the Behold did not disappoint when it came to appearance and ease of use. With the influx of all these "smartphones", I guess I am one of the few who just wants a phone to be a phone! I don't need my phone to play music or search the web, though they are nice features to have for backup purposes. I have other devices for these things, and I don't like all my gadgets in one place because I don't want to be totally without if that one universal gadget is lost, stolen or broken. Also, I don't really want to search the net on a 3" or even 4" screen and certainly don't want to pay an additional $25-$35 a month for a data plan to do so - it's just not that serious. In the end, I didn't WANT a smartphone, so the "cons" of no Wi-Fi and no hot swapping were not cons for me. With this phone, I'm able to have the basic features I want with the latest touch-screen technology in a phone that turns heads.

For what I want the phone for (talking and light texting), I can do very well with the Behold, and I can do it in style! On a few calls, I did notice that I could hear my voice echoing, but it was rare. The menus are very easy to navigate, and I was able to use the phone right out of the box (though I do plan to read the manual to find any features that I may have missed). I listed the proprietary jack as a con, not because I want to use standard headphones or two peripherals at once, but because all of my previous phones are Samsungs, and I think it's sad that I can't use any of their chargers or accessories with this phone. I feel like changing the jack design every year is a way for them to make money from people purchasing new accessories, and that just irritates me to no end! Aside from that, my Behold is a joy to use.

As we all know by now, the price with 2 year contract and rebates is $149, but if you know you're a gadget hound who will be wanting a new phone next year, I recommend that you only get a 1 year contract extension. It's only $50 more, but that beats having to wait 2 years before you can get a new discounted phone, or paying full price for the new hotness that you KNOW is gonna come out in 2009.

** yeah, I copied this from my posting on another site. I didn't feel like typing it all over again. **
I like this phone alot, but the only thing that is annoying me is the TV icon. i removed it from the widget bar, but the icon keeps coming on and off of the top of the screen, i am not a subsriber either. is there a way to stop it?
The good: Great look, great sound quality, nice screen, great Web Browser, great camera
The bad: A little tough to text
Summary: I love the LG Dare! It's fun and easy to use. The touch screen is precise and it is very small and great looking. There are a ton of editing features for pictures. It's great to use!
The good: Great features such as wi-fi,camcorder, windows aps, push e-mail, etc. Its loaded with features
The bad: Touch screen sucks, its not user friendly like the Samsung eternity. It doesn't switch from wi-fi to 3g network easily like the Iphone. The screen and buttons are so small that they include a stylus.
Summary: I'm really trying to like this phone because the features comes closest to the iphone but its not happening. I'm not able to go on the internet with the phone. When I call tech support, they told me to switch it out with a new one which I did but it still doesn't work. The screen is puny and you can't effiently work with it unless you use the stylus. I can feel like I'm eventually going blind working with the phone. Its LG first smartphone and it shows. I'm going back to the Samsung eternity.
The good: Big bright screen, nice big easy to use keys
The bad: Lack of noise cancelling mic, weak camera resolution and lacks flash.
Summary: I drive for a living and also have big man size fingers, so the access works great for me to key in numbers and such while driving even without looking at the keypad.

On the downside the mic picks up external noise a little too well and others comment that they hear wind and engine noise, will remedy with a noise cancelling bluetooth headset to make up for lack of Access's own noise cancellation.

The screen is very bright (good in sunlight), can be teathered to a laptop for internet connection thru wire or bluetooth(att doesn't seem to help support this but it works)...

Of course the other features are email, IM on yahoo and others, MP3 player, TV and a slot for extra memory.
The good: Is expanding service areas. Even with buying your own phone, the plans are cheaper.
The bad: You have to purchase your cell phone outright, but for the price of the service it is worth it. You miss a month you have to play catch up to keep your number, You can roam, but you pay $0.49 per minute and you have to let MetroPCS know you are going to be in roam mode ahead of time.
Summary: With MetroPCS you have buy your own cell phone. Plans are as follows (11/19/2008):
$35.00 unlimited minutes local only
$45.00 unlimited minutes local and long distance
$55.00 unlimited minutes local and long distance,web services and plus the other services you would pay separate for. Texting services with all plans is $3.00 per month extra, but as with all of the MetroPCS services it is unlimited texting. MetroPCS just recently added Lansing and Flint Michigan areas to their service areas. There is a $3.00 service charge for paying a payment through a vendor/dealer. I think a $3.00 service charge is cheap, versus a $80.00 payment per month and on up for the other cellular service. MetroPCS is a bit high on adding family to your service, $25.00, but there is no shared minutes and they get the same services that the main phone line gets as well (you still have to pay the extra $3.00 for phone texting per person per month). For the most part it is an excellent service at the right price.
This thing is absolutely amazing. it completely blew me away. when i walked in the store, I forgot all about the iphone and the bb bold! texting on here is the best experience ever! it's incredible! the touch screen is very very responsive. the camera takes GREAT photos. the speakers are pretty loud too. i could go on and on. but basically, it's a top notch high end iphone killer to me!
The good: Great screen and display. Its a loud phne also. Great internet. and texting is great!
The bad: When u get a text..it plays the whole song even if you've opened da text
Summary: Ive had this phone for about 5 months and it still works like new. Texting is the bomb! The phone holds like gazillon messages at once! The music player is awesome also and gets pretty loud. Internet is smokin, im writing this review from my phone! great memory! Battery life is ok too. Overall this is a great phone and well worth the cash.
The good: Pay as you go plans are good, PTT is great
The bad: Phones are the plastic counterparts of Nextel's, customer service is a joke if you need it, it should just redirect to a Nextel Tech
Summary: I got couple of the boost 335s, I gave them to my brother and the other one to my parents... it worked well in a few places where BOTH Sprint's and Boost online maps says it doesnt, even the PTT was clear
The good: Easy to use on txt and navigating
The bad: Battery life extremely sucks!
Summary: I researched for best coverage around my house and sprint had stated it had best. Whether inside or outside my house I barely had 3 bars or less so false advertisement on that factor. I'm considering returning the phone since im within my 30 days so we'll see what happens. Elaboration on poor battery life is going thru my emails or checking the weather for the day and not even using more then 5 mins. of my web has caused my batt from full bars to end of the day by 1 if not dead and beeping. I mean c'mon! I want something that has a decent batt life im not expecting full on dead by the end of the day!!!
The good: Qwerty keyboard,
hot red color,
nice camer/camcorder,
nice sound quality,
durable,
stylish,
great reception,
good battery life,
The bad: 3.5 head jack wud have been nice,
no flash but its still good
Summary: I LOVE this phone! about last year i purchased a piece of crap lg rumor. it worked for me because i could text. until it messed up and i returned it and got a newer one. but that happend to mess up just like the first one. so i decided to go with the samsung m520. though its a very good reliable phone it was to simple looking and could have been better. when i saw the samsung rant i purchased it asap..luckly it came out the month of my upgrade. this has been the best phone by far!!! i would recommend it to anyone. great investment
The good: Nice weight, clear screen, seems durable grat web browsing and camera
The bad: None yet
Summary: The eternity is a pretty sweet phone i like it alot. I personally chose over the iphone so i guess that makes a pretty good statment. The touchscreen is great very clear and it feels great in your hand. I also like that fact that you can use normal headphones and dont need the other type of jack. That scored big with me.
The good: Styling, everyone likes it! Good battery life.
The bad: Speaker, microphone pick-up. The side buttons activate the voice command feature which is annoying if you accidentally touch the buttons which is quite often.
Summary: Crappy speaker, the sound has to reflect off the
something like your hand because the speaker is in the back. It's a way better phone than my LG though. I wish someone would build an great speaker phone, I'd buy it! The speaker quality isn't that great.
The good: Great touchscreen interface, smooth sliding, keyboard is easy to use. Great call quality as well.
The bad: Recording sound seemed to be a little off. Otherwise, nothing wrong.
Summary: I absolutely love this phone. The touchscreen works very well and is easy to adjust to (coming from a regular push button phone). The keyboard has a good layout and is easy to use. Overall, I would definitely recommend this phone!
