The good: looks nice, big numbers are nice, large screen
The bad: battery doesn't last long, static noise on the line
Summary: Bought 2 and both had static noise. Returned both for new ones. Of those one still had terrible static and the other had mild static. Returned one for another new phone and finally it has an acceptable level of static noise. The battery only lasts 2 days and I turn it off at night. I expected more from this phone. I think I would have been happy with my old phone.
The good: outstanding call quality!
The bad: none
Summary: Boostmobile is an excellent company for people who want nextel features as well as the walkie talkie. besides i don't see what's wrong with them, they have excellent reception on the nextel's national network and great call quality.in my view i prefer this company over companies like t-mobile and verizon anyways. also for those who have bad comments i say:get a life you inferior rodents. i only wish they had more phones espeacially the new nextel blackberry curve that was released other than that nextel, boost, sprint you rock! i'm now 16 years old and i have an i880grey using boostmobile's service and it's excellent. i've been with them for more than 2 years and i've had no problem. Nextel, boost fan for ever.
The good: Nice Touch Screen, Slide out keypad, 3G Capable, Web, Brew,Design is a plus, Great Display, 2.0 megapixel camera(can display 1.3 or 2.0), pretty easy to slide. Comes with Headphones that suit the phone(2.5mm-Non Standard) Actually comes with a standard pare of headphones and uses adapter to hook into phone. Micro SD Compatible
The bad: No QWERTY keyboard, Back plate is sleek as well as slick. Back plate scratches very easily in the center. During a call speaker mode is a bit too loud (i kno it sounds dumb but if u get it u'll c)
Dedicated buttons and accessory jacks crowd the right side of the phone.Micro SD not included
Summary: Overall it's a pretty cool phone i mean i for one actually like it. I wouldn't recommend it for adults it's more of a 12yr old to 19yr old type phone. Great Christmas Present. I like that u actually get a pair of standard headphones and a 'converter' to hook in to the phone. Phone feels pretty sturdy other than the scratching i mentioned. Nice weight it fills your hand. back plate doesn't come off easy ++. It's not a 'tap'screen like the iphone it's more of a 'touch'screen If you like the standard keypad then this is the phone for you, it even comes with a touchscreen.
I had to exchange my Motorola for Dare. This is the best phone I ever had. Very fast if u browse the net and very friendly and easy to use.
The good: great touch screen, great keyboard, great call quality
The bad: battery life if using camera alot
Summary: over all this is the best phone for texting that at&t has come out with. it is not a smart phone so people shouldn't expect it to do everything like an iphone. if you dont use the internet alot and your more into texting get it. its better than the matrix and propel. its no bigger than a voyager or any blackberry out there.
The good: Everything but one check it out
The bad: I love this phone and chose it over the iphone but I couldnt get my mp3 to be a ring tone does anyone know how?
Summary: Basically I love this phone its so easy to use, but like I said your mp3s cant be a ringtone I even have a memory card but it said the file was to big can anyone help??
The good: Great MP3, very flashy, great sound, easy to use for the electronic savvy
The bad: too touchy buttons/wheel, poor instruction manual, some features embedded too far
Summary: I love the phone, but some things are just buried so deep in the program it takes a few clicks to get there, no easy short cuts for some of the basic things. Have had to search the web for help info, book is about useless. The wheel and corner buttons are way too touchy and you can easily end up in a screen you don't want.. like the ones that cost you air time or extra $$. Texting is fine, great buttons easy to hit even with "fat fingers". Just have to watch where you put your fingers while holding it during texting.. for reasons above.
However, its not a phone I regret owning! After a week of owning it, I am now able to find things quicker and simply LOVE the ipod equivalent sound.
One feature that is the cats meow.. the music transmitter! Listen to your tunes on any radio, without any special cords? Makes ipod seem archaic!
The good: -It has a nice, clear display
-It doesn't feel like it's going to drop out of my hand
-The pictures this phone takes are pretty awesome
-The Internet works well
-Texting is a breeze
-The touch-screen is responsive
The bad: -Some of the pictures I took were grainy
-The spacebar on the landscape QWERTY keyboard isn't exactly in the center
-You cannot change the loud clicking sounds of the side buttons
Summary: I think this phone is fairly awesome. I've been looking at some of the reviews out there who are hating on this phone. If you're a tech-savvy type of person who want a perfect phone, you might not choose this one. Even though it isn't for all the fun-lovers out there, it's still a great phone for the average phone. Who cares if there's no Wi-Fi. I don't even use it. People are getting really lazy these days, and using their internet on the phone. We have computers for that. Next thing you know, you'll be cooking from your cellphone. The phone is more of a media phone, and suits my every needs. The battery life is good. I've only had to charge it two times in the past six days. I found the touch-screen to be truly responsive, which worked well. Texting was also no problem on this phone. The internet was a bit hazy at times, but otherwise, it worked so suit my needs. Overall, I think this phone is awesome, and it's a great phone for the average person.
The good: It's nice, and it's small and has some nice features
The bad: no camera and buttons are a little small
Summary: I just got this and I already got yelled at for playing with it. It's nice looking and has some nice features. Something I think is cool is that it has a tip calculator which is a shortcut calculator that tells you a sufficient tip for your bill depending on your percentage you put in (15% is default). All in all it's a good starter phone but eventually I'm giving it to my mom so I can get the Samsung Eternity.
The good: everything on the phone will go to your liking
The bad: NOTHING!!!!!!
Summary: it is just such a great phone and i like that the camra lense isnt poppin out like the first env because it would wobble if u put it on a table go env2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The good: I travel for a living and I have not been to a place where I didn't get service.
Great customer service.
Battery life is good.
Devices have tons of features.
Plans are not expensive for what you get.

The bad: NEW PHONES!!!! where are they?
My contract is over and still no new phones?

Summary: I signed up with Helio when they first started, I purchased the Hero and it was a great phone. Then the Ocean came out, had to have it. It has been a great phone, no problems at all, it does everything I could ask for in a phone (device, sorry Helio). But its time for something new or I am switching carriers. I want to wait for Ocean 2 but I don't think its worth the wait. Helio announced Ocean 2 early 2008, and they keep pushing it back. Whats the deal? Other than that, I would recommend it to anyone.
The good: Design (keyboard, screen, buttons easily accessible), optical mouse, Windows 6.1 is WONDERFUL, Today Screen, Memory
The bad: (Standard) Battery life (Recommend extended battery), Few accessories so far. Non-standard headphone jack.
Summary: As a long time Pocket-PC/Windows Mobile owner, I had to decide whether I wanted to razzle-dazzle my friends and learn a new touch-gismo operating system, or buy something familiar with a minimal learning curve. I chose the latter, especially because I already owned a big library of 3rd party WM software, and also, I was anxious to ?enjoy? the fixes and upgrades contained in Windows Mobile 6.1. Virtually everything is painless and easy now. The optical mouse makes all the difference in the world. No more reaching for a stylus! WiFi connect was completely painless. The many upgrades to Outlook email has eliminated the need for 3rd party email programs and integrates very well with other features. Most 3rd party applications designed for WM5 and earlier seem to work fine on 6.1. The increase in memory is a godsend. The device itself is very attractive, light, and fits comfortably in a shirt pocket. Battery life was inadequate for my usage, so I bought the extended battery. This IS the device Windows Mobile was meant to be. If you're not Windows Mobile (or Pocket PC) savy, you're going to struggle a while, but give yourself a chance!
The good: This phone has more features than I expected, but am pleasantly surprised. Has AVR for all hands-free operation, compact, easy to use.
The bad: None that I can find, so far. But, would love to find a case w/belt clip for this phone.
Summary: I just got my phone and love it. The text messaging is easy to use, comes with a tips, hints, and shortcuts booklet that is extremely helpful. The screen is large and easy to see. Very user-friendly. It appears to be very sturdy, which is very important. The clarity in sound is great, too. I would definitely recommend this phone for whoever needs the features that are offered with it. I didn't something that is more like a Blackberry, this phone is just enough for me.
The good: MRC vs. competitors.
SPEED!
The bad: Limited phone selection.
Summary: I have to say that I really do love my phone company. Ever since I've started with them, it's been nothing but greatness and I'd gladly choose them over the competitors! Now, that's not blind comparison, mind you. I've had AT&T and T-Mobile and the coverage (in my area) just wasn't as good. With Sprint, I've never had a dropped call and every time I use the internet (all the time, everywhere!) it's been blazingly fast! Some time ago, I had Helio service and absolutely loved the coverage and speed I experienced with them. I knew that they piggy-backed off of Sprint, so I was pretty optimistic about coming over. But of course, I was a little hesitant because of what I'd heard about them. To be honest with you, my experience with Sprint has been totally opposite from everything that I'd heard. Their customer service totally rocks and like I've said before, I just love their service coverage/speed. I currently use the Everything 450 data plan and it's perfect for my needs: minimal calling, MAXIMUM internet usage, heavy messaging, gps services, etc.... The same services on say, AT&T, would cost me a bit more each month, so I know I'm getting a great deal (funny enough, I work for AT&T). Sprint's come a long way from what it used to be, and I admire what Dan Hesse is doing to turn this company around. The only con to Sprint is their SEVERELY limited selection in phones. I'd definitely love for them to expand that, and I'm sure with time, more interesting handsets will appear. On a positive note, I do currently use the Instinct and it's pretty much the best phone I've ever had. It completely keeps my life together and does everything I need it to do! All in all, if I were asked if I would ever recommend this company to anyone, I would say MOST DEFINITELY! As a matter of fact, I already have :) So try them out and experience "Life at Sprint Speed!"
The good: 1. Easy to use 2. Easy to access everything. 3. Easy to access messages and attach photos 4. Great pictures 5. Everything well thought out except for 1 problem discussed below. 6. Sound speaker is awesome that I gave up my speaker in my car, and also bluetooth in my BMW.

I bought an I Phone leather flip over case and it fits perfect. All you have to do is cut out a little spot for the charging wire.

Samsung had one major problem earlier. The plug in for the prior A707 was terrible
The bad: 1. I cannot read attachments to my e mail which I can download via Media Net or Media E mail (Yahoo). I have blue attachment line and I hit it and it says not supported. Need help on this by anyone with an Eternity that knows how to open attachments.
Summary: Is there anyone that can tell me how I can open up attachments to e mails on Eternity either word or pdf on the Eternity. I see blue line for attachment and I hit it but pop up comes on and says it won't support it.

I am told that the Behold or the Instinct from Sprint you can open the attachments and they are not Window based so I do not get it.

I also checked out the OMnia at Verizon and laughed and put it down. It is a joke. It is like doing brain surgery. Whoever developed it was on crack. My daugther has the Blackjack and she loves the window based phone and I am sure she would love the Omnia but I hate it.
The good: Technically fulfilling. I use it to get my work email (exchange interface)and pop mail. Great 3G, Wifi and capable GPRS connections. A wonderful media device, though the standard audio player isnt the best- however several free players out there that can do the job well.
The bad: Expensive. 8 gb is nice, but doesnt have expansion slot. The firmware update is a painful process cause the backup/restore isnt the best- though critical data is always saved.
Summary: I really have no complaints. I had an iPhone but it just didnt feel right in the hands. Big factor here.. i have so much more freedom to back up music and other files and use as ringtones... iPhone is restrictive to iTunes purchased music as ringtones. I guess you could unlock your iPhone to make it better, but i want to update it. Nokia is open source- so there's tons of quality free software out there. So though pricey, you wont get hit with a lot of the little annoyances that prompted me to return my iPhone.
The good: 1.touch screen 2.keypad 3.media features
The bad: 1.battery life 2.not a "pocket phone"

Summary: Well this is an all around good phone. A great gift for anyone. With a touch screen and keypad its very unique. The only people this would not be good for is younger children( the touch screen could break).
The good: screen
responsive touch
excellent call quality
simple interface
The bad: bugs aplenty
Summary: ive had this phone for a month or so and im on my second one, i love almost everything about it except that the damn thing has random errors and the voice button turns it off every now and then. i love to love it but there are notable problems. thankfully verizon was very gracious as far as quickly replacing my defective device. i love the phone and wouldnt choose a different one. as long as verizon gives me new ones when the one iv got fails, im happy as a clam with this model
The good: looks good, music player is decent, nice form factor, camera setup is nice
The bad: horrible battery life, touchscreen is gimmeky at best, keypad is terrible,C amera also horrible bad build quality overall
Summary: got my venus nearly a year ago, it worked decently for the first few weeks but then the touchscreen started to go. Let's get this straight: the touchscreen isnt that good to start with, i'll touch one corner and it'll select the exact opposite or i push as hard as i can and it wont register sometimes th screen registers a click but the phone wont. Now the screen is horrible, i can barely get it to work, and i dont abuse my phones. without use of the touchscreen all you can really do is make calls(thats why i marked down ease of use, without the screen it isnt easy to use at all). The keyboard was good to start with too but now its really mushy, keys get stuck, they wiggle loose, the paint is coming off of them, once again i dont abuse my phones so i dont know why it's happening. Overall build quality was decent to start with, it had a good wieght and the back has a nice feel, however it's very plastiky. Now it feels like its falling apart, the slider mechanism feels like it'll throw the screen off of the phone if you slide it too fast. The camera is a piece of junk too. I know its only 2mp but i figured it would be a little bit better then it is. Every picture i have is horribly blurred, movie capture is just a bunch of blurs moving around, you need to have the phone still and the subject still to have any chance at getting a good shot. Now dont get me wrong, this was a good phone when i first bought it. It had extremely nice screens, it didn't feel too shabby the touchscreen worked and all of my friends were jealous of its good looks. However it seriously needs some work on the hardware side to make it worth it, and the software could work alittle nicer with the phone too. i dont know if it was just mine that fell apart or not but i hate my phone now, im ditiching it soon it's so bad.
The good: Responsive touch screen- easy texting- Stylish
The bad: only when pigs fly!
Summary: I got this phone yesterday and it is great! i was debating on the quickfire but i am so glad i chose this for $50 more you get a way better phone
