The good: Looks great, plays music good.
The bad: Poor construction.
Summary: Both of the large soft keys on the front broke off and the battery cover keeps falling off. The keys on the number pad are splitting in half. I have had this phone for only 8 weeks.
The good: User-friendly, sleek-looking, great MP3 sound, nice touch sensitivity, calls are crisp and clear, loud speaker for both calls and MP3, easy micro SD access
The bad: Limited options for personalization, keypad is awkward to use because the slider is top heavy, too many Alltel add-ons (they get in the way)
Summary: I've had the phone for two days and I already love it! It is very user-friendly (you can figure it out in five minutes or less) and the MP3 is easy to access and use. Great sound quality and volume, couldn't be more pleased. The touchpad buttons are a fun accessory, especially with the led lights. I would recommend this phone for anyone looking to use their phone predominantly as an MP3. However, if you are big texter, the small keypad may take some getting used to. Since the slider screen is a bit top heavy, I can foresee myself accidentally dropping this phone while texting. The only other negatives: Too many Alltel add-ons! This phone is loaded with features (like celltop, zuma, xm radio, web access, ringtone shop, etc.) that will rack up your phone bill in a hurry. Unfortunately, they kind of get in the way because they dominate the main menu wheel. I wish there was someway to delete some of these unnecessary features, oh well. I've also had trouble extracting picture files from the micro SD. They are JPEG's and I can pull the files up on my spouse's motorola, but for some reason they are not showing up on the Rhythym. But overall, I am very satisfied with the phone and it is well worth the money. Again, I would definitely recommend it to music-enthusiasts and ppl who like sexy white phones with UI buttons and cool lights!
The good: Better browser with much better speed...more user friendly and more features...love the optical mouse and touch screen
The bad: 3g is def faster but no miracle worker...same size as iphone but feels bulkier...nice to have full keyboard but keys are a little small...learning curve going to windows environment...charger connection is different than my wifes samsung flip phone...too proprietary...can't share accessories among other? recent samsung products
Summary: So far I love it...defitely a learning curve from the pearl but now that I am not stuck with lotus notes and the associated enterprise server am loving the active synch with my works outlook account and the cheaper data plan...for $50 more this is def worth it vs blacjack2...I have a ways to go with this as I have only had it a few hours but I am writing this review with it and can't put it down...so far its the best phone I've had
The good: The phone is amazing the text works great camera is good, internet is pretty fast, everything works great on it, the phone looks and feels good too
The bad: The GPS freezes sometimes which could be pretty bad if you dont know exactly where your going, the phone has froze on me once or twice
Summary: Overall the phone is great just a few glitches here and there but thats going to happen with any phone
The good: QWERTY, ingenious form-factor - can use as reg phone and transforms into a qwerty text friendly messenger, small and thin yet durable and functional for both calls and texting
The bad: Camera is very weak (but you didn't inquire about this phone for it's camera anyway - it's the QWERTY you want - screen could have been a little bit bigger - did we really need to have a half inch black space with *verizon* label and a few milimeters with *samsung* smacked on it? Poor use of screen real estate there especially since the landscape mode could have rivaled or been up to par of a sidekick - and tho you can use speakerphone with the phone closed, the speakers are inside so it comes
Summary: Overall, I LOVE this phone! It was my first introduction to a QWERTY keyboard on a phone and now I know I can never go back to any phone that does not have this wonderful feature. NOTE: It DID take me 2 weeks to get used to the keyboard and landscape mode, but now that I've had the phone for over a year, I will be sad to have to choose another phone when it comes time to upgrade - GROW YOUR THUMB NAILS just a little bit and you will never have any problems texting on this phone (I have big hands too). I keep looking to see if Samsung or another brand comes out with more *dual flip* phones like this one. The pivot is incredibly sturdy with no signs of *weakness* - it does feel slightly stiff in the beginning and then slightly *loosens* afte a few weeks but it's almost as if a little bit of oil has been applied and it pivots from flipphone to landscape mode flawlessly. I've dropped it on tiles, concrete, marble floors and in the street and it doesn't even show any signs of ever having been dropped! Phone reception in both receiving and sending are excellent as well - other verizon customers sound like they are standing right next to me, and non- verizon people merely sound like you can tell they are on a phone. It's thin and can slide into pockets w/o a huge bulge and because it is so light and thin, you actually can lose it in a medium sized purse if yo just drop it in there. I suggest an external leather case that clips to your pants or some light-up stick-ons accessories so you can find it easier. I do like strong vibrate phones since I suffer from nerve deafness and rely on vibrate mode to let me know I have a call, but it isn't so weak so I only miss a few calls this way. The loudest ringtone it has is the musical funky tone everyone has nowadays. Usually I have it near me in view so I can tell if I am getting a call. If you want QWERTY, a unique design, excellent reception and small/thin with clear LCD, this is the phone for you. just give the keyboard 2-3 weeks chance before you toss it lol. Oh, btw, most new phones coming out now, like the LG Lotus from Sprint, have a similar keyboard layout.
The good: Customer service, convience, pricing
The bad: Devices could be better
Summary: Virgin mobile's customer service is the best of the best, kreme de la kreme....they offer great phone packages at reasonable pricing, and when and if you have issues with your phone or the service they go above and beyond to help. Changing plans from month to month is a great way to control spending and the online site allows you to do so much...
The only thing that is slightly disappointing is the devices. They are ok, but with 3G in big swing, VM is definately going to have to step they're game up...Very excited about the HELIO/VM merger, so maybe all my cell phone dreams can come true. OZ2 on VM service, take that sideKICK!!!
The good: Attractive, good quality sound and pictures, easy texting, easy to use in general
The bad: Cannot assign ringtones to individual callers! screen froze a few times, but luckily the warranty replaced it.
Summary: Overall this is a very easy to use, attractive phone with good features. other than not being able to set ringtones, it is a good phone! :D
The good: Great mp3 player with FM transmitter, crisp/clear sound, good camera, chat style texting, much more.
The bad: Small keypad, minimal web browser (no java).
Summary: I have only had this phone for 2 days, but so far I have been fairly happy with it. I have no problems hearing the other person when in conversation, and I haven't gotten any complaints of them not being able to hear me. The speaker phone is nice and loud. The mp3 player is very nice and it has an 8 GB storage capacity with the microSD card. The FM transmitter is a nice feature. The sound quality is very good - Much better than most phones out there. The camera is very good quality for a phone. The touchpad is nice with customizable sensitivity. Overall, the phone is very nice, and I do recommend it. The only things I don't like about it is that the keypad is kind of small, but it's manageable. Once you get used to it, it's not bad. There are much smaller/harder to use keypads out there. The other thing is that the web browser is minimal - not full html like a smartphone, but I knew that before I bought it.
Great phone, easy to use! Highly recommended.
The good: Cheap phone's, great value.
The bad: I would like to have more coverage. I guess you could blam At&t for that.
Summary: I love my little net10 phone. I have the unlimited minutes and text plan, best thing ever. It also has free 411 included. Great deal, I would go for it.
The good: Simple, fits in a pocket, press just one button to get to; texting, speaker phone, sounds, voice-dial. Strong vibrate
The bad: No camera, small screen, very loud vibrate, kind of thick but still small.
Summary: Pretty good cell phone if what you are looking for is simplicity and usability.
The good: I love it my mom got it for me - my BFF!!! LOL
The bad: Its Big and heavey than other phones you can't text during class with its size
Summary: I love it so so so so so much I would recomend it ages 10+ and great for kids with busy lifes or adult and teen who love to chat and text it woul dbe the perfect one for any age really
The good: I thought it was an excellent phone. After using it for six months, I lost it and replaced it with its' big brother, the SCP 7050. I thought I'd be in for a really big treat since I increased the model by 3,850! It would be that much better. That was not the case as it turned out. I loved the 3200 and I'm trying to replace it but they don't make it anymore. It never had reception or transmission problems. Battery life was excellent. It lasted three days without needing a charge. The sounds
The bad: No cons other than I heard that it is extremely clone-able.
Summary: It's probably a little late at this point, but if you are looking for a lot of fun, that's simple and no stress, that sounds and feels great, then this is a solid excellent inexpensive little phone.
The good: Excellent coverage area, very helpful people
The bad: Texting has to be added
Summary: I have never had a problem when I had to deal with customer service, Alltel staff has always been helpful, considerate, and taken care of any problem or issue. I haven't had any overages or extra charges that were not the direct result of myself or family members. I would HIGHLY recomend Alltel over ANY of the other carriers. We had Cingular, Sprint, and At&t in the past -Alltel wins HANDS DOWN!!
The good: Slides easily. Easy to 'clean' (i.e.-wipe of after my son spills his juice). Easy to navigate with a little practice. Clean design. Classy (two-toned). Great Bluetooth. Connects easily to a computer and transfers files quickly. Sturdy. Easy side navigation buttons. Camera design-works open, works closed, can EDIT pictures (i.e.-zoom, crop, and rotate), four different 'colors'-for lack of better word-sepia, black&white, aqua, normal, music player that connects to your computer via Bluetooth and t
The bad: Without practice, the center button-more a 'joystick' in actual-is difficult and touchy to use. But my son can use it, and he's four. The Bluetooth head set, if not attached to the phone in between use loses battery life quickly. Slightly 'clunky.'
Summary: I almost took this phone back because of it's clunky feel, but after i got used to it, I just think of my phone as substantial. A beautiful phone to hold, look at, or talk on, I love the way it makes me feel. (Vain, but true.) I would buy this phone in a minute if given the chance again, but I would take more time to learn how to use it BEFORE going back to work.
The good: Cheap, good selections of phone (for pre-paid)
The bad: Spotty Customer Service
Summary: I had a phone for 3 years. I started having problems with it. I could receive calls but not dial out. I called Customer Service. They answered the phone quickly and were very nice but the Level 1 reps could not fix the problem. They had me enter code after code and was constantly putting me on hold for "3 minutes please". After 1.5 hours they transfered me to a supervisor. The supervisor could speak and understand English much better. He determined the phone was bad in 2 minutes and said they would send a new one. I got it 2 days later. (Very impressive).

When I tried to activate the replacement the service date carried over but not the minutes. I called CS again. Same problem. They worked with me so long my home handset went dead and I had to call back and start over. It took 2.5 hours to get the problem solved by a supervisor who fixed the actual problem in less than a minute.

Suggestion to NET10 - Pay more for better support reps.
A knowledgable rep can turn a 2-hour phone call into a 5 minute call. You would save more money on your 1-877 number charges than you would pay in higher wages for better first level.
The good: Much easier to type vs. the previous Pearl models and light years faster than a touch screen. The web navigation is improved as well vs. the other Pearl models. Not likely you'll accidentally call anyone or answer unsolicited calls. I'm overall very happy in my first week of usage.
The bad: I wish I could delete incoming emails without opening the phone. I had some issues getting the Enterprise Activation working properly, but I think that was more of an issue with my company's IT staff.
Summary: I previously had an 8100 and I had fond feelings for the little phone. I was hesitant about the switch, but have to say I'm really liking it. The improved software makes instant messaging simple.
The good: Great solution for consumers that can pinpoint their usage and needs. No surprises. Great international rates, CHECK IT OUT. Wont miss your two year contract if you dont need that extra unused capacity like .... coverage in MARS.
The bad: Some areas have coverage blackout. Limited models.Cheap brand perception .. but, my friends dont pay my bills!!!
Summary: NEEDS: I need two phones. One with unlimited web browsing and talk, the other for occasional calls.

I WAS PAYING: $ 125.00 month minimum and frequently more, for peak and extra minutes nonsense, for two lines with 700 mins talk and one line with unlimited browsing.

NOW: I am paying $ 50.00 to MetroPCS for unlimited web and talk on one line and $ 9.99 a month to TRACFONE for 50 mins a month for the standby line with rollover. SO after six months I have 250 minutes on my TRACFONE and it keeps growing with rollover. Also, I am saving on my international calls with MetropCS, 2 cents a min to Europe and 8 cents a min to Asia.

BOTTOM LINE: My total bill has gone down from over $ 250 a month to $ 60 a month for domestic and $ 90 a month if I include the international calls. A savings of over $ 160 a month or almost
$ 2000 a year, thats almost $ 2900 in gross pay before taxes.

PREREQUISITE: Make sure you have good coverage in your area. Most of my calls are in a 50 mile radius and Metro PCS covers every inch of it. When I am not talking I am on the web having a ball. When roaming, and I lose Metro PCS coverage I use the TRACFONE. When I am in my calling area I save a bundle on the international calls.

OPINION: I was paying for excess capacity and bells and whistles that I did not really need. The coverage map with my earlier carrier looked impressive but I never really called anybody in Cucamoonga or Tuskegee. Also, the fancy brands looked cool but thats where it ended, I never really used all its features. And whats the point in paying through the nose for two years when the novelty of a sexy phone died off in a few weeks.

ADVICE: So folks identify your NEEDS carefully first. Where and when your calls are mostly made.
How many minutes? Talk or text? Then have a backup for roaming like the TRACFONE. Put that two grand in the bank. Time we start spending wisely in these hard times.
The good: Low rate, excellent coverage in my area, better in EVERY WAY than AT&T GoPhone
The bad: none so far.
Summary: Bought a cheap phone at Target with 300 free minutes. Had it activated in less than 5 minutes. Decided to upgrade the phone...got a nicer phone also with 300 minutes. Called customer service. Transferred the 280 minutes from the old phone with no problems. Minutes were on my new phone while I was still on the phone with the lady.
She spoke with an accent but perfectly good English..better than some people who are American born and live around here.
Better than GoPhone...service time as well as minutes roll over...with AT&T it's just minutes. When you add minutes, your service time starts all over again.
With AT&T, they charge for a minute whether the other party answers or not. Net 10 does NOT.
I don't have unreasonable expectations that Net 10 is going to be like a full featured Sevice such as verizon. IT does what I need it to do flawlessly.
If you want all the bells and whistles, sign a 2 year contract with the big guys. Don't complain if you get what you pay for with Net 10.
The good: Easy touch screen, great TV signa
l, great internet signal, easy to use
The bad: Bad battery life, no flash on the camera, overpriced
Summary: The LG Vu is a great phone for anyone who is new at using phones. It is full touch screen easy to use. But has bad battery life, and does not have flash for the camera. Has a 2.0 megapixel camera that is awesome. but you have to be really sure you want a full touchscreen because it can get boring. I have had mine for 4 months and I am so bored of it and mow i want the LG Venus in pink. Overall this is a great phone besides the few downsides.
The good: Gets best service all over the state. Reasonable pricing. Great customer service, and I have needed that many times.
The bad: Always a little behind on the most advanced phones.
Summary: I have been using US Cellular for 8 years and have never had any disappointments from my carrier. The cell phones are always a little behind the times, but it's a small sacrifice to pay for a phone that actually ALWAYS WORKS at a great price. They also have been offering free incoming minutes that work no matter who's calling you - and have been forever. They get service. Now they just need to keep expanding so they can work on their phone selection.
