The good: Lightweight, Optical mouse, nice touchscreen, camera resolution
The bad: Long form factor, short battery life, sensitive mouse, windows hangs
Summary: I just received this phone. previously a Palm 700wx user. couldn't wait to get rid of the palm and say goodbye to daily soft resets.
I was a little taken back by the size of the saga. long form factor. larger than the palm, but much lighter and thinner. nice for a shirtpocket, but not pantspocket!

Runs WM6.1, and as such, it's quite slow and unresponsive. was able to hang the device in first 10 minutes of use, merely by bringing up the browser and going to my.yahoo. device hung loading, couldn't exit the application and device wouldn't respond to windows Start button. Reset!

Touchscreen is nice, however, cannot find a way to disable it while on a call. Press your fact too hard against the screen and your cheek can hit the call end button that is part of the Call screen. Or, when ending your call, you might find any number of programs open. Unlike the Treo, I have not found a way to disable the touchscreen while on a call.
The device has a on/off button that needs to be pressed to wake the device up. Apparently it's vulnerable to being pressed while in your pocket, despite being on top of the phone and requiring a recessed push. I've taken it out of my pocket most every time to find the device on with many programs open (calendar, alarms, etc).

Doesn't appear you have any/much control over programming various hard keys on the device. Left and right side keys only. Windows has program for programming Fn keys, but it doesn't allow you to actually set anything up.

Optical mouse is nice, but very sensitive to the touch. Cannot find anyway to adjust sensitivity. There are no up/down/side buttons. Must use the mouse in 4way mode and slide mouse. Very difficult to navigate to where you want the mouse to be, especially if your typing and want to reposition cursor.

Battery life can't hold a candle to Treo, unfortunately. I happen to use Goodlink, which is either pushing mail continually or manually. If continual, it will burn the battery out in about 6 hours. Treo will go for well over a day.

I wanted so much to like this phone and say goodbye to Treo problems, but, it's back to my treo for now. This one's going back to verizon, and I'll need to figure out some other Global solution. Unfortunately, Blackberry is not an option. Might be a trip to AT&T.
The good: Easy to text on, fun to use, sleek look.
The bad: Battery life is not that great.
Summary: Ever since i saw the commercial, I had planned on getting this phone. once I actually had it in my possession, I was surprised that i was even more satisfied. it was worth the money I paid for it. It was quite convenient since my old phone was also a samsung, so I was used to the format of the phone. this phone is very pleasing to use and pleasing to the eye.
The good: In my area the tv quality is great, it rarely skips. The media player is good, and the camera is alrite. My next phone is gonna be the Dare by LG. I think someone that has alot of time out of the house might want this phone, so they can watch tv.
The bad: One drop of the phone and the screen gets scratched easily. My charger cover came off. it is hard to watch tv with a scratched screen so DONT DROP IT
Summary: Overall it is an ok phone (not the best) if you are out of the house a lot you should get this phone but before you buy it ask if you can test it, because the tv might not work in some areas, and it has an antenna in the back it took me a while to figure that out(The antenna does help the quality of the tv for those who don't know)
The good: They are cheap, unlimited everything (text, pics, video, local and long distance) for under 50$/month. Extremely low foreign rates per min.
The bad: Localized calling area, only covering a few counties in north Tx. Very limited phone selection.
Summary: If you don't travel more than 80 miles, if you want to strictly have an unlimited mins phone for your kid for about 25$/month, if having phones that are a couple years old with no frills at all and paying a jacked up price, if you have family in other countries, if you don't mind rooting through the least user friendly customer service menus and talkin to the dumbest and least job enthused people once you do get through than you can't beat it. You can travel with the phones, they lease roaming access from other carriers to use their towers, it just costs alot. Also if you travel/move to an area that has metropcs there, you can use the phone just as if you were at home.
The good: Omg its awesome
The bad: none
Summary: Man it does everything it is so easy to text it. u can get a 4 GB memory card and it holds up to 1000 songs. also u have internet and u can google stuff it comes in handy. and there is this website that u can go to that u can get free ringtones for real
The good: Fast, one click is easy. GPS is great. txting is fast. software tools, light, not too big, GREAT loud, FOR CHECKING EMAIL.
The bad: Battery life sucks! although when down to one bar, it does last! No flash! Camera has a horrible lag! worst camera. web browser crashes, no realiable
Summary: This is one of the better phones i have had. It small easy to use, and fast. It needs some crucial improvements like battery life, and the 3 second camera lag! plus I flash would be great too. Good, but not great. txting is a blast. I would like more software skins.
The good: 1.Responsive touch screen
2.Qwerty keyboard
3.Good reception
4.Easy to use/learn
5.Good bang for your buck
6.Full html browser
The bad: 1.Battery life can run a little low when using browser
2.Auto-lock can be a pain sometimes
Summary: I really enjoy this phone and am glad i bought it. I have it for US Cellular, not Alltel, so the comparison might not be the same.

Its got a great touchscreen with a cool widgets menu for nice customization. The browser runs great for a non-3G network. I load web pages very quickly. The on-screen qwerty keyboard looks small but its very intuitive and comfortable to use. The auto-lock is useful but it locks too quickly sometimes, which cant be changed but can be turned off. You hold the lock key longer to turn it off. Definitely not an Instinct or Omnia but a great choice for anyone who wants to get into the touchscreen fad.

Overall its a great phone, especially with US Cellulars lack of nice phones. Go for it you wont be sorry.
The good: Eh, its a phone with a bunch of buttons.
The bad: Messenger is 35 dollar download. VZ navigator also 10 dollars a month and is a pretty weak offering. I am unaware of its possible use.
Summary: Messenger is 35 dollar download. VZ navigator also 10 dollars a month and is a pretty weak offering. I am unaware of its possible use.
The good: This phone is great for texting , making videos , and taking pictures. The buttons are easy to push and is better than a voyager and a blackberry. No lie I hope you get it cause its the best phone ever

Youll be the env of all your friends and co-workers
The bad: The only con is that the screen goes dark faster than normal phones but once you have the phone for a while you get used to it
Summary: This is an awesome phone and youll love the QWERTY keypad so get off the computer and go buy one NOW!!!!!! Ps i dropped this phone like 9 times and it doesnt even have a scratch on it
The good: Small, lightweight, solid feel, great reception, easy to learn/use interface
The bad: Sluggish Windows Mobile response time, issue with memory card (see write-up)
Summary: Overall good handset and easy to use, but have had an issue with the memory card. When storing files in memory card the messaging function can lock up and be unresponsive.
The good: Qwerty keyboard,
Large screen,
Self Portrait,
Nice bubble like buttons,
Dedicated message button,
The bad: A bit large, not as pocket friendly
Summary: The Samsung gravity is a very nice phone. With its wide display, Qwerty keyboard, and nice bubble like buttons. It is very much like the Samsung Rant and the LG Rumor, both is size and quality.
The good: Qwerty keyboard. Large screen. MP3 shortcut keys.
The bad: Nothing!
Summary: I reallly like my Lg Lotus. It is soo user friendly. Everything is right at my fingertips. I text like crazy and at the end of the day I at least have 2 battery bars left. :)
The good: Good sound
Great camera
Nice display.
Easy to text on the inside key pad.
Pretty durable.
The bad: Slow.
The keys are too close together.
Battery life is terrible.
Too chunky.
Summary: I've had this phone for about a year now. Only had to get it replaced once because i lost it at a hotel. They don't make it anymore. I hate the battery life on it. When i'm texting i press the wrong keys because they're so small and squished together. This phone has had many accidents of me dropping it on sidewalks. I dropped it on train tracks three days ago! Just shuts off and turns back on in a minute. Only one or two minor scratches. The camera is really good. I like having a flash. I wish there were more ways to edit the pictures though.....Myspace on the switchback sucks and is hard to use....decent phone though.
The good: Sleek Design, Large Touchscreen, 2.0 megapixel camera with flash. MP3 player, with full shuffle and playlist options.
The bad: The wallpaper shuffle does not work right on 1 hour mode. Ringer isnt as loud as my previous razr. Could have been equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard. The user manual is written poorly, doesnt go into much detail.
Summary: Beautiful design, with a large touchscreen. Has an additional sliding keyboard, however, an on screen keyboard appears when the screen is not slid out. MP3 player is very nice. Has a complete playlist option, shuffle option, and everything else a mp3 player has. The camera is amazing. When your using the camera or video, you flip the phone sideways, and the flash is quite nice. Much clearer than other 1.3 megapixel cameras. Battery life is good, even when using the mp3 player for several hours. The only thing I'm trying to figure out is if this thign will accept micoSDHC cards.. Thats all I can find in 4gig.
The good: Variety of keyboards for e-mailing and texting, 3G, WiFi, Optical Mouse is actually useful (personal preference), Scrolling and rendering is very good, great display.
The bad: WinMo isn't the greatest OS out there, battery life isn't the BEST (this isn't a BB).
Summary: This is a great phone, has many features, and in my opinion can be a great phone for anyone, and not just for the business world. Texting options and calling was great, and opera mobile in this device is amazing. The camera is 5-MP, which is good, but it does not seem to be as good as another 5-MP camera phone (this mainly has to do with WinMo). Still great camera nonetheless. It comes packed with features and other options to fit your needs. Def. look into this phone if you like touch-screen devices, or just want a flashy nice camera phone to show off to your friends.
The good: Very Good 3G reception every time I use my phone and its very fast.Web browsing is great.Media Net is so easy to use a caveman could do it.LOL
The bad: The bill in my mind is a bit high priced but not too bad.
Summary: With AT&T im very happy unlike when I was with Verizon Wireless which was terrible. I recommend AT&T any day over stupid TMOBILE and Verizon and I didnt mention Sprint because it's just not worth it.
The good: Incredibly durable, large buttons, easy to handle, simple to use
The bad: None
Summary: I was searching for a phone that would accomodate my hectic lifestyle. I carry my phone everywhere and have always been rather rough on my past cell phones. This phone is absolutely perfect for me. I have dropped it numerous times and it doesn't even have a scratch. This phone was well worth what I paid for it.
The good: very good phone ever build!!!
The bad: SonyEricsson no.1
Summary: Im a SonyEricsson fan since one year.I owned k800I,k810I,k850I c902 and now c905,and that phone is great...Im just waiting for moment when SE release new style phone like omnia,or i-phone,maybe next year???Now i've got c905 and im very happy.
The good: Excellent coverage all over Wisconsin, free incoming calls and messages, great customer service, cheaper rates for comparable plans from competitors
The bad: Never seem to have the latest phones.
Summary: I have had US Cellular since October, 2002 and was off at college in the boonies. I've been on the same plan since then and get 1000 anytime minutes with free incoming calls/messages for $40/mo. The customer service is excellent and they're very flexible with me about upgrading my phone before my contract is up.
The good: i love my dare! it never freezes up and its capable of so many things. i love how much you can personalize everything down to the touch!
The bad: i wish there was more cute covers for it.
Summary: overall its a wonderful phone. i dont have any complaints. ive had mine for bout 2 and a half months and i couldnt ask for a better phone!
