The good: keyboard
The bad: keyboard is too small
front buttons BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tiny outside screen
turns off with full battery for no reason
annoying to only be able to use the inside

Summary: do not get this phone
i had it for awhile and loved it
and then it started turning off
then my ok button didnt work and i had to do everything on the inside
then my 0 * and # buttons didnt work
i hate it so much
and now i deciding between the decoy and the sway...
The good: Service has been great thru out Mi, the I-75 corridor to Knoxville, all of SC & NC and the I77 corridor to Cleveland and west to Toledo, OH. I haven't missed any calls during my travels around the Southeast United States.
The bad: Placing calls outside your home area or friendly roaming area is cumberson. Cannot use your directory numbers or speed dialing. Operator forces you to dial 1 then phone no followed by the # sign.
Summary: I have been with ALLTEL for 4 years and have been completely satisfied with their service. The service has always been available no matter where the call was placed or received. For my occasional use of my cell phone this plan is perfect for me.
The good: Qwerty keyboard wich makes txting faster, light weight; perfect size not too big, not too small. Nice features n screen layout. And the camera has flash =]
The bad: The touch screen might sometimes tick you off, it will sometimes go somewhere where you dont want it to go.
Summary: Overall this phone isnt really all that bad whats iffy about it is the touch screen. It sometimes tends to go to other places rather than it going where you want it too it could also be a little slow sometimes. The kool things about it is that it has a qwerty keyboard n if you're a texter lyke me you'll lyke the keyboard, tha camera also has flash which is koo. So yea not the best phone out there but its good
The good: Good coverage, fair price, no customer service problems
The bad: None so far except maybe that we have to wait for bigger companies to release rights to newer phones.
Summary: I am sorry that so many have had problems with NTelos. I have the exact opposite experience. I switched to NTelos about 5 years ago and LOVE the service. I am even more excited with this company after our local news station did an unbiased review of the various service providers in our area. NTelos came out on top for having the best reception, fewest dropped calls and lowest price.

I had been with ATT who was bought out by Suncom. Once the buy out was announced, I called ATT and asked them if I was unhappy with the service, could I drop the plan. I was told yes. Once the buyout was complete and ATT was Suncom, my service with them suffered. Dropped calls were common and the price increased. I called to cancel my service and was told that I would have to pay $200 to get out of my contract. I kept ATT until the contract was finished and then switched to NTelos. I am a teacher that travels between several different schools in a rural area. I have NEVER had a problem getting reception with NTelos except on a new bypass, and that was fixed later.

Too, once my children ran my bill over by about $150 with texting. I called NTelos who granted me grace and removed the charges. I upgraded my service to include texting as I learned that teens would rather text than talk.

A colleague of mine recently purchased an IPhone. He was trying to convince me that I would love an IPhone. Maybe so but if I have to leave NTelos to ATT to get an IPhone, forget it! Thank you, NTelos, for a great service.
The good: Everything from affordable monthly plans to customer service (in stores & by phone).
The bad: Only cons are the rude, ignorant & dishonest insurance company & reps they now contract with -which is NOT an Ntelos company - PLEASE find another Insurance Co for us to deal with!! Also, Motorola phones are garbage & their customer service is non-existent - 2 emails & NO response.

Summary: I have been with Ntelos since they came into my area as Primeco. I have never had ANY problem with receiving signals or dropped calls. In fact, I have had service in areas, like Cape Hatteras when my friends, who had AT&T, Sprint, etc did not. Any issues with signals usually reflects on the type of phone you have, & if its Motorola, forget it!! or that its so rural that no one else can get a decent signal on ANY network. Customer Service has always been outstanding. They're friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Tech support has helped me resolve a couple issues over the years, & are awesome. I even had a Rep do a 3-way call with me & the Ins Co to help resolve an issue, but unfortunately it did not work as the Ins Co emoploys rude & ignorant people who have NO interest in helping a customer once they have your money. When I started texting more than usual, they called me, & got me on a plan, that not only would save me money in the future, but prorated it for that month & saved me about $50. And people, just because you may have had 1 bad rep or experience, which is hard to imagine with this co., that's gonna happen with ANY company eventually - so be reasonable.
The good: very easy-to-use keyboard with nice layout, good sound quality
The bad: touch screen unresposive at times
Summary: The Quickfire is decent as a texting phone. The touch screen is unresponsive fairly often, but when the phone is open this is not an issue - there are up, down, left and right keys on the keyboard. I would still recommend this phone, I think the pros outweigh the cons.
The good: Very nice high quality design. Crisp, sharp, and bright screen. Very nice icons and layout. Great call quality and clearity.
The bad: Wi-fi did not work in many areas. Even when it did, the phone would not play streaming videos. Sprint nor Blackberry could help me get the internet feature working, so my phone would only go to wi-fi, with no other browser available. This phone does not come with Sprint TV or the Music Store, so you cannot get the free NFL Mobile Live. It attracts lots of smuges and finger prints on the screen and on the back of the phone.
Summary: In all, they did a great job as far as giving the phone a high quality design. They should have made this phone Sprint TV enabled and gave it access to the Music Store as well. Like I said you cannot get the free NFL Live access either. What a bomber!!!
The good: keyboard, ease of use, screen locks, good camera with mirror, charm hook
The bad: iffy touchscreen, bad battery
Summary: I have had this phone for a week and love it. It definetly has pros and cons.

Pros:

-Keyboard-The keyboard makes texting easy. I text alot and this makes texting very easy. The keyboard is very responsive. The keys and fairly large and raised so they are easy to press. They have space in between them and it does not feel cramped or tight. This is definetly the best keyboard that I have texted on.

-Ease of Use-The phone is pretty straightforward it is hard to get used to at first. I adjusted to this phone very quickly.

-Camera- The camera has a mirror next to it for self-portraits. The camera is 1.3 mp. It is pretty good for a phone. I still carry around my digital camera though.

-Charm Hook- Many people overlook this feature. This phone has a place for a charm. This helps add a personal touch to the phone.

Cons:

-Touchscreen- This touchscreen is hard to describe. Some days it works perfectly and some days I think I am going to break the screen from hitting it. Most of the time I wind up having to navigate with the arrows on the keyboard. The most annoying part of this is that sometimes when I touch something it will go to a different application. This is very frustrating. I would not let the touchscreen keep you from getting this phone.

-Battery- The battery has three hours of talk time which is fair for a phone. By the end of the day, if I sent about 200-300 texts and a couple of phone calls the battery will be about 3/4ths gone. The battery is fine if you charge it everynight.

I would definitely recommend this phone to anybody. I understand why some people say to not get this phone but there are ways around the problems that are not that annoying. Even if you are not sure if you are going to get this phone, go to the store and check it out. If you are still not sure, get it and if you do not like it then return it. Please give this phone a try.
The good: Great sound quality. Large and clear external display (the size of some internal screens), interactive scrollwheel, huge bright and very clear internal display. Awesome music player!
The bad: Sometimes there is a software glitch and will freeze when sending a message, requiring pulling the battery out to reset. Kinda hard to open with one hand and flips open very quickly, which can make it fly out of your hand. A hard case on outside can help with opening. External display when open is blank (unusual for LG flip phones)
External display should be larger like Razr2.
Summary: This is a great cell phone, definitely carries over the chocolate package. FM transmitter isn't always real clear, but if you find the right station, it sounds very good. The displays are very clear and bright. The auto-bright internal screen works very well. The keypad is easy to use and very easy to text with. The two dedicated keys on the keypad are a great convenience for speaker and camera.
The good: It's an amazing phone, i enjoy texting on it. Features at first may be a little confusing but once you get familiar with it, its almost perfect. Play's Music as well.
The bad: There are a few things in the phone that may frustrate some people. First of all the sound quality could be better, it's small speaker makes it difficult at times to hear people on the other line. And again with speaker, if u like listening to music on your phone, its not the best, it doesn't play music loudly, although the sound quality is average.
Summary: Good phone. Easy to use. Music feature is nice, although complicated. Good for texting if u do enjoy the number pad. Durable.

I have experienced some recent problems. When ive been texting or what not, it just turns off.

My battery life is very nice, it doesn't die frequently.
The good: Inexpensive, somewhat customizable menus, useful tools, decent sound quality
The bad: No USB connectivity, not compatible with AT&T Mobile Backup, Small display and can?t change font size, No display on front cover of the phone.
Summary: I bought this phone because it was cheap and got what I paid for. It?s only good for people who want a standard phone setup and don?t have many entries in their phonebook.

You can?t connect this phone to a PC. Samsung confirmed that so don?t believe ads you see for data cables If you want custom ringtones or graphics in this phone you?ll have to pay your carrier for them. It?s not compatible with AT&T Mobile Backup so if you lose the phone, your address book is gone forever.

Since there is no display on the front of the phone, you have to open the phone to see who?s calling.

I plan to buy a new phone on ebay to replace this one.
very nice phone sleek and just the right weight too better then the lg vu
The good: easy activation, no contract, low cost, good customer service
The bad: pretty basic phones
Summary: I first used Tracfone from Jan. 2004 through Jan. 2006. I had one of the old refurb Nokia handsets. It was a durable phone. I never had any dropped calls. Initially, there was a slight problem during voice mail set up where the system wouldn't allow me to create a voice mail account. When I called customer service, they were very courteous and quite helpful and resolved the problem very quickly.

I switched to US Cellular for awhile, but returned to Tracfone after my contract was up. (no complaints, just a cost cutting action) Since I've been back with Tracfone, my little $ 10 Motorola has given me no trouble. Service is excellent. I get a signal just about everywhere.
The good: The phone is nice. I don't text, so I was not real concern with a query keyboard. But overall, it does exactly what I want it to do. The phone offers alot of options. Such as, along with picture id, and ring tone the phone will also announce the person name(if it is program in the phone).
The bad: I use my bluetooth quite a bit. The problem I have is the initial connection. The bluetooth will connect and then it will automatically disconnect the bluetooth. That is annoying.
Summary: Overall, the phone is great. The manual is not very detail. You must play around with the phone to get all of the options the phone has to offer. I would recommend it to any age group. It is not just for kids.
The good: Easy to use, great touch quality, great camera, and phone is very loud. Love the look and the HUGE screen. Been waiting for this phone for a long time.
The bad: You cant touch and drag like on the Samsung Eternity. I would have loved that feature on this phone.
Summary: If ya want a great touchscreen phone get this one. The LG VU, it is great for anyone. And if you are worried about the touchscreen and making alot of mistakes, DON"T because you can calibrate it for rhythem, pressure, and accuracy. Overall, the LG VU is a great phone. Thanks.
The good: Great price, coverage area, friendly customer service (so far!).
The bad: Very basic phone.
Took about a day for txt messages I received to show who sent them. Now it works perfectly.
Summary: I purchased this phone at Target for $30.00. I did so hesitantly because of some of the reviews here. However, Boost still seemed like the best deal for me. I'm doing the dollar a day plan. The phone is very basic but it works fine. I've not had any problems with missed calls or bad signal. Another reviewer posted a review a few weeks ago who lives in the same county as me. I've not had any of the problems they had! Also, there were plenty of 757 area codes available when I activated. The reception is great, phone is inexpensive, I've only had one run in with customer service (My husband accidentally clicked the wrong area code while activating my phone) and the agent was incredibly polite and gave me a new number within 2 minutes of us dialing the number. I've only had the phone for a few days but really, it's a dollar a day, I don't see how this is a bad deal.
The good: Nice looking packaging and features at a fairly decent price.
The bad: Programming of the Contact entries is a heavy duty problem. You just can't get there from here so to speak. Following directions from manual it just does not work. Design of phone allows volume to be turned down depending how phone is picked up.
Summary: Generally speaking I was disenchanted with the phone in the data entry areas. You just can't program contact info the way they tell you in the manual. Other design featuressuch as volume control can be a minor problem too. Built in antenna for signal capture leaves room for improvement.
The good: sleek duel flip flash full qwerty key board
The bad: 1.3 megapixel camera small buttons
Summary: this phone is good if you are a texting type of person, sleek and fits right into your pocket
The good: 1 Good Camera with mid end flash
2 Responsive Touchscreen
3 Very Good QWERTY keyboard
4 Haptic Feedback
5 Mouse is responsive
6 Good multimedia playback with DivX support
7 Very Large memory ( 16GB ) with microSD slot
The bad: Screen is a bit slow resolution
Fingerprint magnet
No stylus slot
Summary: The Samsung Omnia which I've used for 2 months unlocked GSM is overall a very good phone, all the specs and promises Samsung made were true and it is a very powerful device worth considering with great software packaging, stylish, very good battery, good camera and massive memory
The good: Beautiful graphics imo, very user friendly, shortcuts on front screen is very helpful, threaded messaging, great call reception
The bad: The buttons, while giving very tactile feedback, needs time to get use to and also bc of the pyramid shape it sort of feels weird on your thumbs. The threaded messaging is a bit limited, not really like the iPhone's at all. Can be kind of slow, probably bc of the menu transition animations. The keyboard is also just slightly cramped, probably not recommended for those with fat thumbs.
Summary: This is a great messaging phone, perfect for any texter who wants many of the smart phone features without a smart phone plan. The dedicated Google SMS menu is very helpful for those who want Google answers but don't have/want an internet plan. The keyboard, while not having the best key shapes, has great key and symbol locations. Still have yet to fully test the battery life, but under heavy text usage I didn't even use up a battery bar even without full out of the box charging. Great camera, very sharp pictures for a 2MP I must say. The speaker could be louder for playing music, but has a good quality sound overall. The screen, graphics, pictures, and animations on this phone are all gorgeous. The screen is the perfect size for this kind of slider.

I would rate it an 9/10 (On standards of a "Dumbphone")
