One day after launching a new iOS 11 update for the public, Apple's unleashed another update for developers.
iOS 11.2 beta 4 is now available for developers to tinker with as we head into the weekend. The update can be downloaded by going into Settings > General > Software Update on your iOS device or by pointing your computer's browser at Apple's Developer Center.
iOS 11.2 brings with it some notable improvements, including peer-to-peer payments with Apple Pay Cash and faster 7.5W wireless charging the the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Other changes include pop-ups that explain that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will be disabled for 24 hours when toggled from Control Center and a fix for a Calculator app bug that would ignore some button inputs when entered rapidly.
Apple hasn't said when iOS 11.2 will be released to the public. It's possible that we'll see another beta or two before the launch, though, so it could be another couple of weeks before iOS 11.2 is ready for public consumption.
Also released today is watchOS 4.2 beta 4 for developers. This update can be downloaded by going to General > Software Update in the Watch app on your iPhone or through Apple's Developer Center.
