The rumor mill has been churning out reports claiming that HTC is prepping an bigger version of its U11 flagship, and now that device’s design may have leaked out.
Renders that are reportedly based on HTC U11 Plus schematics have been shared by @OnLeaks and Couponraja.in. The renders show a device that looks a lot like HTC U11, complete with a liquid glass rear surface. One notable design change involves the fingerprint sensor, which is on the front of the U11 but is on the rear of this U11 Plus.
Today’s report also includes some alleged spec details of the HTC U11 Plus. This upcoming Android flagship is rumored to feature a 6-inch Quad HD+ display, 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM variants, a Snapdragon 835 processor, and an Edge Sense squeezable frame. It’s also said that the HTC U11 Plus will lack a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The HTC U11 is no slouch, offering up specs like a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, and 4GB/6GB RAM variants. Based on these leaked specs, it looks like the major upgrade for the U11 Plus will be a slightly larger display, which could make it more attractive to phablet fans.
