One year after introducing its ZTE ZMAX Pro, ZTE has taken the wraps off of its latest Z Max device.
The ZTE Blade Z Max is now official. This Android 7.1.1 phablet features a 6-inch 1920x1080 display clad in 2.5D Dragontrail glass. Above that screen lives an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for your selfie needs.
Around on the back of the ZTE Blade Z Max is a dual rear camera setup, one of the upgrades that the Blade Z Max touts over its predecessor. Included is a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor that can give your photos features like monochrome and blurry backgrounds. Also of note is the fingerprint reader blow that dual rear camera setup.
Inside the ZTE Blade Z Max lives a Snapdragon 435 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (21GB available to the user), a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also included is a 4080mAh battery, up from the 3400mAh battery included with the ZTE ZMAX Pro. The ZTE Blade Z Max offers a USB Type-C port and Quick Charge 2.0 tech when it comes time to recharge that large battery.
The ZTE Blade Z Max will launch at MetroPCS on August 28th, but you can pre-register for one of your own right now. Pricing will be set at $129.
