This holiday season, T-Mobile is giving the gift of free DirecTV Now to AT&T switchers.
Starting December 16, AT&T customers that switch to T-Mobile can get one year of DirecTV Now service for free. To get their free DirecTV Now, AT&T subscribers must switch switch to T-Mobile and activate two lines on a T-Mobile One plan.
T-Mobile’s free DirecTV Now service will come in the form of 12 monthly bill credits of $35 each. Normally that’s enough to cover the base DirecTV Now package that includes 60 channels, but DirecTV Now is running a limited time promo that offers its 100 channel package for $35.
T-Mo does note that its free DirecTV Now offer can’t be combined with some of its other existing promos, like Carrier Freedom.
T-Mobile also says that it’s added DirecTV Now to Binge On for Simple Choice subscribers. That means that while T-Mobile Simple Choice customers aren’t getting free DirecTV Now, those that do sign up for the service can stream it without touching their high-speed data.
This looks like a tempting deal for any AT&T customers that’ve been thinking about jumping ship. You’ll still get to stream DirecTV Now without using your mobile data, just like on AT&T, but you’ll also be getting the service itself for free for one year.
Are any of you AT&T customers thinking about jumping to T-Mobile?
