Remember that Glossy Black Galaxy S7 that leaked out last month? Well it looks like it could launch soon with a new name in tow.
The Pearl Black Galaxy S7 will launch in South Korea on December 9, claims a new report from SamMobile. This report also includes official-looking images of the Pearl Black GS7, which confirm that it looks largely similar to the existing Black Onyx model, save for its blacked out metal frame.
It’s also said that this Pearl Black Galaxy S7 will include 128GB of built-in storage, which is quite a bit more than the 32GB and 64GB variants that are currently available in South Korea.
This Pearl Black Galaxy S7 could be Samsung’s response to Apple’s Jet Black iPhone 7, which offers a similar glossy black finish. That blacked out iPhone has proven to be one of the more popular versions of the iPhone 7 since the device’s launch, and so even though Samsung already offers a Black Onyx GS7, perhaps it wants to have a similarly blacked out Galaxy S7 to go up against the iPhone 7.
What do you think of this Pearl Black Galaxy S7? Will you buy one if it’s offered in your country?
