After confirming back in August that it would carry the Gear S3 Frontier, T-Mobile today revealed when its customers will be able to strap Samsung’s new smartwatch on their wrists.
T-Mobile will launch the Gear S3 Frontier on November 18, aka this Friday. Pricing will be set at $399, and you’ll be able to add the LTE-connected Gear S3 Frontier to your existing smartphone plan for an extra $5 per month.
The Gear S3 Frontier is Samsung’s newest smartwatch, offering a 1.3-inch 360x360 AMOLED display, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a dual-core processor, NFC and MST support for Samsung Pay, and a 380mAh battery that’s rated to last three days on a single charge. The stainless steel 316L body of the Gear S3 Frontier is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance, and it also includes a rotating bezel for navigating the software.
Also of note is that the Gear S3 Frontier runs Tizen 2.3.2, but it’s compatible with devices running Android 4.4 or higher with 1.5GB of RAM or more.
