The rollout of Android 6.0 continues today with an update for ZTE’s Axon Pro.
ZTE says that it’s now pushing Android 6.0 to the Axon Pro, complete with many of the features that you’d expect when moving from Lollipop to Marshmallow. Those include Doze mode for increased battery life, Google Now on Tap, and improved app permissions.
The Axon Pro’s update is a beefy one, weighing in at around 835MB, so you’re probably going to want to connect to Wi-Fi before trying to download it. Once you’re on a speedy Wi-Fi connection, you can hit up Settings > About phone > System updates > Update now.
When the Axon Pro launched last year, it debuted as a new hero phone for ZTE. Since it’s a big phone for ZTE, it’s good that the company is treating the Axon Pro to Android 6.0, because it helps to build consumer confidence in the Axon brand.
