So far we’ve seen HTC, Motorola, and Sony all come forward and announce their Android 6.0 update plans. We haven’t yet heard a peep (Get it? Peep? Marshmallow?) from Samsung about its Marshmallow plans, but the rumor mill has come forward to share that information for the company.

A report from SamMobile claims to have a list of devices for which Samsung has started work on Android 6.0 updates. There aren’t really any huge surprised to be found, with the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note 4, and Galaxy Note 5 making up most of the list.

Focusing on the specific carrier variants, Samsung has started work on Android 6.0 for the AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and US Cellular versions of the Note 5, S6 edge+, S6 edge, and S6. However, this list claims that Samsung is currently only working on Marshmallow updates for the Verizon versions of the S5, Note 4, and Note Edge. That said, I’d be surprised if the other carrier-branded versions of those phones didn’t also get Marshmallow.

In addition to these US carrier-branded Galaxy phones, Samsung is working on Android 6.0 updates for several other devices. Those include the Korean carrier versions of the S6 edge, the Cricket version of the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, and the Galaxy S5 neo, among others.

So now the question is this: When will Samsung actually begin pushing these updates? Google itself only began rolling Android 6.0 to Nexus phones last week, so it’ll take Samsung some time to blend Marshmallow with its own custom UI. There’s a possibility that we could see some updates start at the tail-end of 2015, but the US carrier versions of the Galaxy S5 didn’t start getting Lollipop until early 2015, so owners of current Galaxy flagships may be waiting until early 2016 for their taste of Marshmallow.

One other detail that’s worth noting is that just because a phone or tablet isn’t on this list, it doesn’t mean that it won’t be getting a Marshmallow update. This is just a list of products that Samsung is allegedly working on updating right now.
