Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile both offer a handful of plans that include unlimited data, but limited amounts of high-speed 3G/4G data. If those allotments aren’t enough for you, the prepaid operators are launching data packs.

Both Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile are now offering data packs that add more high-speed data to your plan for the month. You’ve got a choice of adding 1GB of high-speed data for $5 or 2GB of high-speed data for $10.

Sprint’s two prepaid subsidiaries offer varying amounts of high-speed data, and while you can switch between these plans from month to month, sometimes you just want a small data boost for  single month. These data packs will give you that boost without having to switch to a new plan for a month and then switch back a month later.
