UPDATE: And now the Nexus 10's Android 5.1.1 factory image has gone live with the build number LMY47V. Google's also posted the Android 5.1.1 factory images for the original Nexus 7 and Nexus 7 (2013).
Yesterday we learned that Android 5.1.1 had hit one T-Mobile Galaxy S6 edge, but since that was the only report of the update, it might have been pushed to that user in error. Today another device is getting Android 5.1.1, but this one appears to be legit.
Android 5.1.1 has started to hit the Nexus 10, arriving as a 13.9MB over the air update. There’s no word yet on the build number that the update moves the Nexus 10 to, nor is there an update URL available quite yet, but those details should be along shortly now that the rollout has begun.
Google has remained fairly quiet about Android 5.1.1, so it’s nice to see that the update appears to be rolling out now. Here’s to hoping that 5.1.1 starts to appear on more devices soon, especially the Nexus 9, which hasn’t even been bumped up to Android 5.1 yet.
