Earlier this year, Google Now gained third-party app integration with 40 different apps, including Pandora, eBay, Airbnb, Shazam, and more. Now Google is expanding that list even further.
Google announced today that it’s teamed up with 70 new partners to add more Google Now cards onto your Android device. Apps like Spotify, TuneIn, and YouTube can recommend playlists to help keep you entertained, Allrecipes will recommend a new dish for you to make, Runkeeper and Jawbone will keep you updated on your fitness goals, and OpenTable will let you pay for your restaurant bill through a Now card. Some of the other apps that are getting integrated into Google Now include Zipcar, ABC News, Circa, Feedly, and Eat24.
Google says that these new Now cards will begin appearing on Android in the coming weeks, so long as you’ve got the latest version of the Google app. Google Now has always been a useful tool, but with personal information as well as third-party app integration, it’s increasingly becoming a place for Android users to go to quickly get information and do things without jumping from one app to another.
