While the rumor mill has been going back and forth on what the design of the new HTC One M9 might look like, it’s been pretty consistent when it comes to the device’s expected features. Now it looks like one of those rumored features is a lock.
Qualcomm today posted a Tweet with the caption “It’s almost time for a new Snapdragon 810-powered smartphone. #MWC2015” Attached is a Vine video that shows the silhouette of a phone with round corners that looks like HTC’s One (M8) and possibly the One M9, too. In front of that silhouette is the time 8:10, which then flips over to 10:08, the time that HTC uses in all of the press images for its new smartphones.

The Snapdragon 810 is Qualcomm’s current flagship processor: It’s already appeared in the LG G Flex 2, and I’m sure that we’ll see it in at least a few more high-end Android phones in 2015. It’s also worth noting that the HTC One (M7) and One (M8) both used Snapdragon processors. So while we may not know what the HTC One M9’s exterior will look like, it looks like a pretty safe bet that its inside will contain a Snapdragon 810.
