Sprint Lease started life as the “iPhone for Life” program that lets you rent an iPhone device for two years, then trade it in and upgrade to a new model. Then Android got in on the Sprint Lease action with the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 Sport. Now two more phones are being added to Sprint Lease.
Sprint today added the LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to the Sprint Lease program. That means that you can now rent an LG G3 for $0 down and $15 per month for 24 months or a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for $0 down and $25 per month for 24 months.
Once that 24-month period is up, you can either turn in your leased phone and lease another device, purchase the leased device outright, continue leasing the device on a month-to-month basis, or return the phone in “good working condition” and end service.
With Sprint Easy Pay, which works similarly to Sprint Lease but lets you keep the phone outright after 24 months, you’ll pay $0 down, 23 payments of $20 and 1 payment of $19.99 for the LG G3 and $0 down with 24 payments of $30 each for the Note 4. So with Sprint Lease, you’re saving $5 per month over Sprint Easy Pay. There are also two-year contract and no-contract options, but those require you to pay more at the point of purchase.
